Empower only works on fully-charged heavy attacks now. Which means that medium weaving is dead. You either light attack weave or use fully-charged heavy attacks. Medium weaving turned out to be optimal on the week 5 PTS but now ZOS "announced" in discord DMs with a youtuber that this will change on the live patch and Empower will only apply to fully-charged heavy attacks.
Even though this thread exist now, when update 35 goes live people will still be surprised that they changed something unannounced at the last minute and there will be complaining from people who have (re)learned medium weaving for nothing. But hey, wouldn't it be great if instead of needing to be asked on discord by a stream team member they actually came forward on their own and gave us this info before the patch goes live?
Yeah, this attitude towards us players is exactly why trust is at an all time low. I would have preferred to find out about this from the devs in any official capacity and not have Skinnycheeks become their official news channel. Bruh.
At least pay the man a salary if you are making him do the communicating for you, ZOS.
As their official forums, communication has honestly been a joke. Even if they decide to share a bit of information on another social media platform, they have a responsibility to share it here. They even have a Dev Tracker a the top. Why don't they connect everything said to there?

Most people wouldn’t view the PTS change to empower before it goes live as rising to the level of requiring an individual developer communication. Blame the community for turning it into a big deal.
