What do PC players have to do with this? If anyone is to blame for not implementing basic QoL features, it is the developers. Constantly nourishing platform conflicts does not get us anywhere.

It's more about the add-ons that people use to overcome the basic qol deficits that the game has. How many PC players actually play the game the way it ships out of the box, so to speak? Probably not a lot. Players and devs get so accustomed to their altered version of the game, that they forget just how lacking some of the things can be. That's why there's not a lot of changes to help us console folks. They toss us half a bone maybe once every few years that's a shell of what an add-on already does.
I'd love to have a minimap, or the mage book helper, or the treasure chest helper, or survey helpers, for example. Instead, I have to pull up my phone and try to find it that way. Then I have to squint at my tv across the room really hard, because, FOR WHATEVER REASON, the map zoom is an utter joke on PS5, to mark it.
I just don't understand why they don't hire out the add-on maker to just implement their program into the base game code. If that person doesn't know how to do it, hire someone who does.
Sorry, that turned into kind of a tangent.

I actually just finished my latest run an hour ago. It was boring but fine. I have no complaints.
I don't need the game dumbed down with the hud showing me where this stuff is. Didn't need it my first run at mages guild. Certainly didn't need it my 10th.

So you followed a guide on your phone instead. What's the difference? Apart from the phone method taking a lot longer.
