With 500+ mounts in game, why no cow mount after 8 years?

we tired of seeing the same wolf reskinned for the 100th time lol some variety would be nice

OMG cows again!! You want a cow mount, I want a mammoth mount. I have the pet, now I want the full size mammoth mount!! And I would name it, Tuskor.

It won't happen, they made categories such as Equins, Camelids and such. They're all just skins put over those base animals, It's very disappointing tbh.

Oh gosh, my cousins and I rode my uncle's cows when we were kids (although by rode I mean we sat on them while they stood still and ate grass). I would love a cow mount.

Bovines is unironically such a good mount type. They could all have the same animation skeleton but a bunch of varieties in appearance

To add onto this, I just found out goats are part of the Bovine family. This makes their in-game designation as "Cervines" incorrect. Therefore, a Bovine mount category is already needed. And at this point, any Cow mount added in the future could be added to the Bovine category with rams/goats.

yea it's pretty odd that sheep and goats are in the cervines category though the mount types are all using the same skeleton and i guess sheep and goats do look a bit closer to elk

and though goats and sheep are apart of bovidae they're actually in the subfamily caprinae
with goats being specifically capra and sheep ovis
cattle, bison, oxen, and buffalo are bovinae

also look at this goat that joined an elk herd, it's adorable
