Are we totally worthless as pvp player ?

I play since years ESO and everytime I play Cyrodiil pvp, I have that feeling ZOS is not interested to make the pvp experience a really great thing. I don't want to talk about the many many bugs and imbalance decisions the developer do every time. I only want ONE DAMN BUG fixed.

FIX that many minutes after a fight and 100 miles away In-Fight-Bug. PLEASE ZOS Please

If I had healed someone or debuffed/dot an enemy there must be a totally max timer to stop that. Are you not able to add an timer or out of range routine to stop that ? I cant regenerate, ride, change equipment or something else.

Don't you think, after all these years, that would be a good fix?

    They are doing one of the most expensive and difficult things a company can do to improve PVP performance. A server re-architecture and replacing old hardware is no small thing. Unfortunately, it's all behind-the-scenes work that you won't see the benefit of for a good while still. I recommend playing a different game and coming back if/when they announced they've finished, and actually have something to show for it. I would guess that bug might be one they fix one day, but if it's bothering you that much, it might be better to just come back later.

    The hardware update is not supposed to improve performance. If performance improves, server resources will be adjusted to decrease costs.

    The hardware change is not my main focus in that thread. What I really want is that software side programming.

    That bug with In-Fight over the whole zone and many minutes after a fight is possible to slow down all the netcode in mass fights in cyro. If you understand that the different players and enemies linked over many minutes without any sense, you understand that this is a possible bottle neck. And besides that there is the problem with riding, changing equipment or quickslots and regenerating ressources.
    Not only the hardware is a problem.

    The bug is commonly referred to as the in-combat bug. From what I have gathered from guild mates is it started when Zenimax made a change so we could not change skills while in combat but avoid actual combat for a short time. Zenimax has been silent on this and did not add it to the dev tracker. In other words, I would not hold my breath on this being changed even though it is rather game-breaking and should have been fixed ages ago.

    It's also sometimes an exploit. If you get the in a fight stuck on you sometimes you ultimate keeps going up as a result. It's then an exploit - but they still don't fix it.

    Update 35 AND it getting worse. More combat bug / fight bug what ever. Can't ride or the other things. Can you imagine how XXXX it is to walk through cyrodiil half the time.

    They have promised so much and fixed almost nothing. This game was first sold in 2014. It should have been ready to play 8 years ago! I bet we will have clean energy from nuclear fusion reactors before ESO will be playable without performance issues and bugs.

    Yes I too get the stuck in combat bug even minutes after fights end and when I'm not near any possible enemy. This happens many times every single night. I'm on Xbox NA in Blackreach.
    The last 2-nights I've been kicked to desktop in the game repeatedly and even completing a dungeon was a miracle due to lost packets. I pinged 198.20.200.1 and had between 5 and 25% packet loss during this long period of time. This started Wednesday night but last night it started at about 8:30 PM Pacific time and lasted at least until 11PM. I had to log off the game and go to sleep because I literally couldn't play PVP or PVE. I confirmed I had no issues pinging any other IPs on the public internet and am on hardwired half-gig fiber. The problem is on their side.
    I have debuffs appied to me stay on and say they're going to last for 47,000,000 days or something like that.
    Voice chat works maybe 30% of the time. Guild Chat 1 for my PVP guild rarely works and we have to log out of the game and back in a few times to get it to work when it does.
    This game is a mess. PVP more than anything.
    In PVE dungeons players get stuck at doors for minutes before being allowed to proceed. This has been happening in Blackheart haven, Tempest Island, and Wayrest Sewers at the least literally for years.
    Audio in most dungeons is so bad you can't tell what any of the narrators are saying. If players move even a bit fast through the dungeon audio clips just overlap each other and you can't hear a dang thing except confusing noise. Man I could go on all day. What a mess.

    Its not a bug or anything.. You are stuck in combat because you healed or damaged someone that IS STILL in combat someplace thus you are as well... You cant just be removed from combat cuz you've decided in your head your done. Your not done till everyone involved stops or dies! :)

    sinnereso no offense but that's ridiculous. If you start fighting someone or even an NPC at a resource or keep or even an animal out in the wilderness and not everyone dies, but everyone/thing goes their separate ways that's disengagement. The game should NOT be keeping all players involved locked in a combat mode indefinitely after that. There should be logic built into the game that if the involved parties get so far apart and/or there has been a certain amount of time that takes place and nobody has taken any damage that the game removes you from combat mode so you can mount/logout/change skills or inventory around and continue playing unhindered. As it is now you get stuck in combat mode so much that you're only able to mount and ride to the next keep/resource take/defend about half the time. I lieterally have to run on foot from a keep to get to another one at least once every night! Every player I play with (hundreds over years, PC and Xbox) hates the stuck in combat situation and says that other than horrible performance issues this is THE single biggest problem in all PVP. If you don't feel this way that's fine, but you're in the probably less than 1% minority.

    You think you know what you are talking about? Ok, then please explain me this: I am in a group with 1 single friend, we fight and then leave the fight because it is over. I sit on my new 2 player mount but my groupmate can not ride with me because they are in combat somehow. I get off my mount, now my groupmate can mount. But i am in combat. We decide to port to another keep. When we are there both of us are in combat and can not mount. We run a few kilometers, then we both can mount. I see a cornflower, look at my map to make sure im not in combat, pick up the flower, and guess what, i am in combat again.

    There is something wrong with this "in combat" and "not in combat" system, no matter how much you try to explain it. There is something wrong with this whole game. And as long as people are trying to explain away every bug report and ignore all the problems, they will never get fixed.

    any updates on this issue. Its gotten ridiculous.

    30 minutes stuck-in-combat in the middle of nowhere while in stealth. This was an issue when i quit plkaying 2 years ago and its far worse today. at least before it felt like there was some kind of time limit.
    As for the "recommended fixes" in support, they do not work at all.

    Looks like it just logged in on console and 1 bar on the reds prime time I’m in Australia so I’m not able to make it this time usually so then it’s just empty
