I don't play often enough to warrant purchasing the content so when I do play it, it is due to having access with my ESO+ Subscription.

I play them only when I have ESO+.

IMO they do not provide adequate value as stand-alone purchases, and certainly not when considering the price of the annual chapter compared to other AAA MMO titles with ~$40 expansions that include more story / world content, more dungeons, more raids, more everything in the expansion price.

The only DLC dungeons I've done were the two that came right before High Isle, because there was a guild event for them. I haven't done any of the others. I have access to the dungeon DLCs through my ESO+ subscription. I've bought some of the zone DLCs with crowns so I'll always have access. I wouldn't do that for the dungeons because I wouldn't care if I lost access to them.

I'll only try them once when there's free ESO+ campaigns, same with the other DLC content.

    Not worth the price

I don't do dungeons/any group content, but if I did it would be with my ESO+ sub - I've subbed since I started playing, annual sub three accounts.

With my ESO+ sub and only when it's free ESO+. Otherwise I'd better stick to vanilla dungeons + Imperial City ones. They're much better to complete with randoms for daily reward.

I get them sometimes with crowns but also have ESO+. I used to buy them more regularly. For me, I just like having access to all the content I do regardless if I have plus active or not.

    Classically I just use ESO+.

I only have purchased 1 DLC dungeon pack, and that was Stonethorn Collector’s Bundle, only because it was a preorder bonus for a Durzog mount and pet. And it was one of the first durzog in the games. I love my 6 eye babies!

With the sticker book system, I am less inclined to buy the packs now, in terms of gear- and just farm what I can while I have ESO+ for those times when I don't have plus.

Again, if they ever do some strange mount preorder that hasn't been seen before, I could be tempted.

I spend the ESO+ crowns on DLCs, and usually buy every Chapter.

I don't need ESO+, I can sort my bank, chests and inventory without, so I pop it once in a while, I simply don't wanna miss out on content.

I bought Stone Thorn for the Crimson Set so I could easily do the story content in dungeons. I've gotten a few others on sale and in the last free ESO+ I did most of them.

I'm still evaluating which ones to buy next. Unhallowed Grave was my favorite dungeon I did on free ESO+ but, it's paired with Icereach which is probably my least favorite.

I do most all dungeon achivements. They are basically mini trials that I don't need to deal with getting X2 heals X2 Tanks X 8 DPS all together to do one trial. I just need one/two other people <Excluding the two new ones which I won't Pug HM's with a non voice rando>.

I buy them with gold in game. Its not very expensive seeing as how dungeon DLC motfis generally sell 30-40K a pop for about 25 minutes a run 100% drop rate. Not including the decon mat selling which can net 300K + a stack depending.

If you run a relatively durable build and use a companion many of the dungeons can be done without other players (ZOS is "mean" sometimes and has mechanics that require another person. Some of them can be gotten around but, others can't) and around half aren't too painful to do (some take rather long or have mechanics that can become frustrating).
For example, Icereach's initial boss has five million hit points. It's not a challenge to kill it's just boooooring. Icereach's final boss has an enrage which can be quite annoying to deal with when you are alone as it can kill even very tanky characters.

Vaults of Madness is a really cool dungeon but, the second boss will leave you incapacitated for most of the fight as you watch your companion slowly kill them off (It lets your companion potentially make up for killing you during the reflection phase of the first boss fight).

I play the DLC dungeons during a free ESO+ trial if I want the sets.

Way back when my IRL friends still played, we'd run the DLC normal modes blind during the free trials. We tried the Vet modes, but after Fang Lair chewed up our relatively low DPS and spat us out, we stopped.

Having ESO+ is equal to buying the content anyway. As buying all DLC yearly, is the same amount of money spent as the Subscription, (plus a little extra, that I equate to the Craft Bag) it's easier to just have ESO+.

As I'm effectively buying the content anyway. It has an added bonus, if for whatever reason I stop playing ESO and drop ESO+, if I come back to the game and reactivate the sub I'll get access to all the DLC I missed out on, without having 'spent' any money for them.

It's the one thing that keeps me from subbing ESO+ more than a month at a time, so I'll do it 3 times a year at most. If DLC dungeons weren't included, I would do a 12 month subscription and roll it every year no problem.

ESO+ but don't play because most of them can't be solo'd.

DLC content is challenging and engaging, compared to vanilla. Especially when soloing, it's kinda fun to do the theorycrafting and adjust your build so you can complete the dungeon. But most of them can't be solo'd, and some are insane to solo. Speaking of vet versions, as normal ones are as boring as fungal grotto.

I play ESO for the world and the story mostly, so I don't feel the need to farm the same dungeons 572396 times like many people do. I usually complete them once with my friends in normal "story mode". Because of that, it would be impractical for me to buy any Dungeon DLC. I use ESO+ for that.

Now the DLC zones are completely different story. For them my usual policy is "...and I purchase the content with crowns so I have access if I drop my ESO+ subscription", because I don't want half of Tamriel become inaccesible all of a sudden if something happens with my subscription.

I have a ESO+ sub so they're something that I just sort of have. Occasionally I try to solo them with varying degrees of success.

As far as content goes, they aren't nearly substantial enough to warrant buying them by themselves. Add to this that the content in question is either A: too easy in a group on normal to be engaging and B: too difficult for the average player on vet to the point where any potential rewards aren't worth the hassle.

Bit of a mix. I have no ESO+ and an alt account so we can group and farm dungeons without the DLC stuff.

The problem with ESO+ not having a "no DLC dungeon random" option hasn't gone away unfortunately.
