does Bloodthirsty work with pets?

Because of the way Bloodthirsty functions when the ability strikes the target, it factors its current health percentage then applies the weapon/spell damage bonus scale to the damage being done, at least that's the way it seems to work. It doesn't add to your character sheet like other sources rather it works as the damage is being done and applied to that specific attack. How does that work with pets like the unstable familiar, tormentor, clannfear, or bear when they attack? Are they being treated as individuals when they attack a target and factor their target's current health or based on the health of the target you are attacking? Or do they not get any bonus at all from it because they draw from your current weapon/spell damage pool that Bloodthirsty does not get calculated that way, instead it is on a hit by hit basis. Am I overthinking this?

Im not an expert on the topic but i think pet dmg scales with max resources so i know infused is best for armor, unsure if arcane is best for pet sorcs

Pets scaled with max resources years ago. They now scale like everything else since around 2020. Whether they inherit bloodthirsty, I can't say. But pets nowadays definitely include higher of weapon/spell damage in their scaling.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding

I have no idea but there's a case to say no since when ZOS made Mistform no longer mitigate NPC damage we learned that pets are NPCs and went through Mistform. (Even blastbones)

We've also seen the pets not proc sets that specifically say you have to deal the damage. However, I don't know and haven't tested any pet builds with bloodthirsty. Can only go off what I've observed in the past and could be dead wrong.
