"An unknown error has occured"

Every time I log in and try to start playing eventually everyone freezes and I can't use any of my controls except to move around. After everyone is frozen for about 30 seconds it will kick me out and say "an unknown error has occured" This started with only happening once in the first hour but its gotten more and more frequent to now I log in and can only go about 5 seconds before it freezes up. Help would be greatly appreciated
