Megaserver error and pre-purchased gear

Ok, so I pre-purchased and went into game today for early access and couldn't add my friend at all, we just couldnt find each other. I saw that for some reason the North America megaserver was selected (I NEVER selected this manually) so I selected EU and now its going to reinstall the whole game. Whatever. What I need to know is will I still have my pre-purchase gear? (I removed the mara pledge from mail but did not use it and I removed and used the monkey vanity pet). Can anyone help?
