kicked from the server for spam while decorating my house

Pretty much what the title says. I was just decorating my house, alone, not saying anything at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything in game at all today. Then I was disconnected and got a message saying that I was kicked from the server for meeting the message limit and told not to spam. Not sure how moving decorations around could be considered spam, so I'm assuming this was a bug.
