"Rites of the Queen" Quest Bug - Frozen NPC.

Things were going fine until the quest objective said: "Follow Queen Ayrenn"

I followed her into Inner Tanzelwil and got killed by one of the blue ghosts. After I re-spawned Queen Ayrenn just "froze" and has refused to move. I've been running around for over 20 minutes and nothing has happened.

I tried logging out, it didn't work. I completely closed elder scrolls online, and re-launched it, and it didn't work either. She just stands there frozen doing nothing, I can't interact with her or anything.

Is there someway to abandon and restart the quest, or reset it all together, because nothing is working. Please help. =(

Update: So I learned that pressing "J" will open the quest menu. And I was able to abandon the quest. Queen Ayrenn spawned just outside Inner Tanzelwil. So I re-accepted the quest, however as soon as I entered Inner Tanzelwil queen Ayrenn spawned in her same "frozen" spot. She's still frozen in place, and I still can't interact with her.



Even that blue ghost that initially killed me was missing. Is Inner Tanzelwil a "dungeon" I have to "reset" or something? I'm awfully confused by all of this, has anyone else had an issue where the NPC they were trying to follow simply froze and did nothing? Can anyone help?

Having exactly the same issue - tried everything I can think of so far, any luck on your end?

I also have this issue. Tried the same things as the post creator did and no luck on my end. Guess it's our fault for dying huh? ^^
Hope the support team notice this thread and are able to guide us out of this.

Hey guys! Give this a try:

First abandon the quest, leave the dungeon, and wait about 10 minutes. Then go back and try the quest again, and see if it works.

One thing you COULD try is kiting a creature and getting the Queen between it and you when it attacks. NPCs might 'unstick' if they get damaged.

Yup same here. Quest is stuck. Have tried all the above methods, except kiting, because there is nothing left to kite...

Seems they fixed the queen, but at the same time made Norion invincible... He is completely overpowered...

The quest is still bugged, the queen is frozen at entrance... Tried to in and out but this is'nt working at all...

Quest still bugged, after a couple of encounters inside the queen is frozen.

We would recommend you to report this issue in game with /bug.
If your progression is stuck because of this quest, do not hesitate to create a ticket asking for a GM help.
