2 people teams in BG

We started a BG in two people and we remained two from the beginning to the end. Of course the other teams were 4 people teams. Guess who has lost... Is it possible that during a pvp event the BG Finder is not able to gather 4 people to play in a team ?

Happened to me too.

It is possible that there were no other 2 person or solo players available to pair with your team.

Could happen in a few ways. Maybe you are the only 2 person team in the group queue and there are no solo players (likely all solo players are in the solo queue). So your two person team can only ever be 2 players because they aren't going to break up a 4 man team to even things out.

Or, the other two player teams and solo players are in other matches, so no one to pair with your team.

The system should not have allowed us to run in two and remain in two. If there were no other players available, we should have been queued, not sent to be mauled by teams of 4 people

The queue seems to work differently then the dungeon queue in that once there are enough players you're automatically put into a match, regardless of if players decline or not. So a couple of players declined the match, but you got sent through anyway, but there were no players to backfill, leaving you as a team of 2.

Tends to happens form time to time with bgs, more so with events.

Just be glad we no longer have the old system would it would hang has it waits for all groups to fill, starting one team with one or two was the fixed for that issue sadly

That's just the risk you have to take while running a two man group in the group queue. The alternative is you just never play BGs because you never get a match. Then you'd be here complaining that the queue is broken because you never get a match.

But it isn't the queue, it is a players in the queue problem. You are the only duo available at the time with no solos to fill in. It's just an unfortunate circumstance, and likely indicative of the larger BG population problem. Just solo queue if you want more full matches.
