The Morag Tong is an ancient guild of assassins headquartered in Morrowind, celebrating murder in the name of Mephala. They have been active since at least the First Era, and their targets have included multiple rulers of Tamriel, high-ranking Dunmer nobility, and countless others. The Morag Tong is unique in its sanctioned status under the Morrowind government to perform legal executions, bound under contracts called 'writs', although extralegal 'gray writs' are rumored to exist.
We are a race-restricted guild of practical role-players who embody the ideals and practices of "The Morag Tong" from The Elder Scrolls game series created by Bethesda Softworks. We plan to bring the lore and actions of the Morag Tong to "The Elder Scrolls Online."

We won't be doing that. Anyone joining will need at least one Dunmer that they will level to max. They can of course have any number of other alts that the game will allow but those characters will not be considered part of the Tong.
During this time in TES history the Morag Tong is scattered and outlawed, trying to piece itself back together after the disaster that was the assasination of Versidue-Shaie and their betrayal by and secret war with the Dark Brotherhood.
Therefore Morag Tong officials will no longer trust any non-Dunmer in their ranks, at least until the guild is at full strength again. Then perhaps we may allow other races to join, but they will never be a part of our inner sanctum.Edited by Reymas on April 2, 2014 8:52AM0
