Well first poll was made in jun 2021 so i guess it's time for a second one. < https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/577729/poll-what-is-the-best-expansion/p1

Maybe say why? :)
Orsinium was/is listed as Game pack Dlc not Expansion.

    Elsweyr
Primarily here for the lore and the questing/exploration until TES6, and they did such an amazing job with Elsweyr.

The furstocks, the environment design, the focus on Northern and Southern Elsweyr at separate stages so they could get more dev time and feel more unique (Summerset's biggest mistake - every city shares identical architecture, just a copy/paste as though Altmer don't have unique history across their island). Elsweyr was fantastic.

Still voting for the same, the land of Khajiits. I joined ESO the year Elsweyr did release, I love Khajiits and dragons!
The zone is great, the story was amazing and my overall experience that year was outstanding. The charity event for killing dragons to save cats made me even fall more in love with the game and zone.
Sometimes I wish I could turn back in time and experience it all over again.
My list would look like this:

    1.Elsweyr
    2.Summerset
    3.High Isle
    4.Morrowind
    5.Greymoor
    6.Blackwood

Voted for Greymoor because: Harrowstorms, the WBs are interesting, Fen and Lyris, and with the caverns it is a large expansion with an interesting story. But, tbh, I could easily have voted for Morrowind, Summerset or Elsweyr. They are all great. Blackwood just isn't of the same calibre and I am waiting for the big bug hunts before visiting High Isles.

ZOS's expansions can have barren areas, and that fit the desert. walking west out of rimmen to that view was amazing, the aquaduct, orcrest.

Elsweyr had and still has the BEST VERTICALITY in any zone ever, the canyon, the stitches, orcrest, the bridges, the necropolis, etc.

favorite race, favorite zone, favorite expansion.
    ESO player since beta.
previously full time subscriber, beta-2024, now off and on, game got too disappointing.

    Elsweyr
Elsweyr was peak ESO for me.

Everyone felt so full of hope coming off Summerset, then we got a cool story, a new unseen Elder Scrolls area, new class, dragons... it was tons of fun. The first night I spent hours just running around and killing dragons. Also switched my main to a necro and never looked back.

Greymoor had a cool zone, but the story felt lackluster. But I didn't mind because I was still riding the high from Elsweyr. Harrowstorms were neat and I must have done 500 of them over the years. I figured we couldn't have a class or combat skill line EVERY year, so next year was going to be awesome...

But then there was Blackwood. It was such a dud in a time when we needed something amazing. The zone was just so boring. I finished in a few days and had no desire to return. Instead of exciting exploration or that new class everyone was expecting, we just got to grind out my companion levels. The deadlands portals were absolutely horrible. In contrast with my never ending desire to do Harrowstorms, I barely had the patience to do 30 for the achievement.

And finally High Isle. The zone is very nice. But there is barely any questing content to be found. And I have only played 4-5 games total of ToT. The whole thing just feels lackluster and another disappointment to me.

Three years with no new class, no weapon, no combat skill line. I miss the Summerset/Elsweyr time of this game. Glad I was around for it. I doubt we will ever get that magic back.

I lost count how many hours I spent just exploring Vvardenfell. The zone is so varied and thoroughly exotic, the architecture is beautiful and the soundtrack amazing. Even the Ashlands are gorgeous, in their peculiar way. Bonus points for Dwemer ruins and their trademark unpronounceable names.

Wrothgar, which I consider to be the chapter before there were chapters. It is massive, packed with exciting quests and political intrigue, the landscapes are amazing, it did not forget the main quest in its lore, and when it first came out playing it was like icing on the Cadwell’s Gold cake (which for me was Covenant territory).

But for the purposes of the poll, Summerset.

    Summerset
I picked Summerset, but I agree with @jlmurra that Morrowind, Summerset and Elsweyr were all excellent. In order for me, I prefer Summerset and Elsweyr equally, and lesser is Morrowind but it's still great.

Everything released since then has been a downward slide, and significantly so, which gets worse every year. I think High Isle is beautiful, but the whole expansion is sad and soulless. There was barely any content compared to "real" and "full" expansions like Summerset and Elsweyr. It feels more like the little end-of-the-year dlc we normally get, like Murkmire or The Reach.

I'll probably be playing this game until they shut the servers off, but it disappoints me now, instead of the excitement I used to feel with a new June expansion. I miss those days, but I also think they are behind us. 😢

This one says Elsweyr because this one.
Else I rank Summerset as second and Morrowind as 3'rd
Now this one rank High Isle next

    Morrowind
Definitely Morrowind, with Summerset a close second. I signed up for ESO when Morrowind came out and I wasn't disappointed. It took me a long time to explore the zone and many of the quest were quite involved (remember the ambitious Argonian quest chain?).

I liked Summerset as well, especially the main storyline.

Elsweyr was ok. I'm not a huge Khajit fan and the desert environment made the zone feel bland to me.

I liked Greymoor but loathed harrowstorms and Blackreach, which means this wasn't my favourite. Also, I'm not a fan of vampires. I've never understood the fascination.

Blackwood was better than average for me. I enjoyed the main storyline and adored Lyranth. Leyawiin is still where I hang out and do daily writs. It's my home base.

My favourite thing about High Isle was the main storyline. Otherwise it felt lacking. The quests you do for map completion didn't seem as involved, and it didn't feel as if there were many side quests. I didn't like how the zone was split up into two parts. I did like Lady Arabelle.

For me: Morrowind > Summerset > Blackwood > Elsweyr / Greymoor > High Isle.

    Morrowind
I enjoyed Morrowind far more than Summerset. But the rest feel way too formulaic for my tastes. High Isle has the same issue as Elsweyr, Greymoor and Blackwood. They are very by the numbers and follow very similar patterns in their attempt to tell a story.

Morrowind felt like a home cooked meal where the chef took the time to include the right ingredients at the right amount and time. As well as giving it its own signature taste. Everything since Summerset has in many ways felt like eating a frozen dinner. Its barely better than bland and while it fills you up. It doesnt leave you satisfied.

I'm tempted to vote for High Isle. I love the expansion to Breton lore, the zone is beautiful and the story was pretty good. Tales of Tribute was a bit frustrating at first, but once I got the hang of it it's all good fun :p

But I'm still going with Summerset. The epic conclusion to a story that had been teased since Orsinium, a very beautiful zone as well, jewelry crafting,... Summerset was great.

And ofc, visiting the Ceporah Tower and being able to join the Psijic Order. The dream of any serious mage :)

For me it is Elsweyr, although Summerset is a close second. I still find myself going back to Elsweyr, though, even to this day. Dragons are the only interesting 'World Event' in my belief. Although the zone isn't as beautiful as Summerset, it is interesting...and the questing (usually the side quests, as always) surprised me and were enjoyable.
