Unable to select some game tabs e.g Deconstruct and Bug Report

Hi,

I have already tried /reloadui, relogging and restarting the game, so please don't suggest those. I am not running a single mod.

There are several tab's in the game that I am unable to click. The game does not recognise that my mouse is hovering over them, as the symbol does not 'enlarge' like when you hover the other tabs. Examples are the deconstruction tab (most annoying part of the bug) in ALL crafting professions, and the bug report tab in the customer service in-game menu.

I asked and no one else in my guild has this issue, so it doesn't seem very common? Any help greatly appreciated.

EDIT: The issue was Overwolf, which is injecting the overlays but they are invisible in the game - there is a reply from Overwolf below with a fix for continuing to use Overwolf in the background.

... aaaand on the 4th game restart it's randomly fixed. Oh well, at least other folks with the issue will know it's not permanent.

And now it's back. Definitely a recurring issue, several tabs in crafting I can't click now.

If anyone has mouse or keyboard issues, I finally figured out that it was the Overwolf plugin for TeamSpeak 3 that was causing it - the overlays don't work in ESO so you can't see them in game, but if you still have them open behind it, they stop your mouse interacting with that part of the screen in-game. Disable Overwolf.

    Hey there!

Name's Raif and I'm the Overwolf Community Manager.

I've passed this along to our dev team and wanted to let you know that this will be fixed ASAP. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.

The reason this happens is that Overwolf is injected intot he game but is invisible. This is something that we will be fixing very soon.

What you can do to fix this on your end if you wish to keep using Overwolf is the following:

    For Windows Vista/7/8
    1. Click the Windows “Start” button.
    2. In the "Search" bar type "%localappdata%" without the quotation marks.
    3. Click the "Local" folder and navigate to the Overwolf folder.
    4. Inside the Overwolf folder there is a file called "Gamelist.XXXXXXX".

    For Windows XP
    1. Click the Windows “Start” button.
    2. Using the "Run", type "%localappdata%" without the quotation marks.
    3. Click the "Local" folder and navigate to the Overwolf folder.
    4. Inside the Overwolf folder there is a file called "Gamelist.XXXXXXX".

Open that file using Notepad or Notepad++ and search for "Elder Scrolls Online". You need to find the line that says:

    <InjectionDecision>Supported</InjectionDecision>

    And change that to:

    <InjectionDecision>None</InjectionDecision>

This will disable Overwolf from invisibly injecting into your game and messing things up. Overwolf will now be able to run in the background and not interfere with your game anymore.

We will be releasing support for ESO (bug free) in an upcoming version. We are very sorry for this bug causing you frustration.

Thanks very much for stopping by with the post Raif! I was trying to use Overwolf for the overlay, as I don't have dual-screens. For now I'll leave it disabled as I see no benefit running it in the background, but it would be fantastic to have a working overlay in the future.

    Cheers!
