My submission for Undaunted ULT, quests, dungeons

Undaunted Changes
1. Addition of solo-player dungeon

Solo-player dungeons:
• To provide players an opportunity to experience the story (and mechanics) of the dungeon at their own pace.
• Same as normal dungeon, but with mob size limit of 3, except for “tiny” swarming creatures like baby mudcrabs, kwama scribs, spiders, tiny bats, etc.
• Boss mechanics are the same, but the bosses and add-ons themselves are nerfed to provide possible-for-one-to-defeat yet still challenging combat.
• These will not drop normal dungeon gear (more on gear drops later)
No-CP dungeons:
• To provide a different challenge to group players, rather than vet or even vet hardmode.
• Same as a normal dungeon, but all champion points are disabled.
Undaunted Ultimate ability:
• Needs to have some benefit pertinent to both 4-player groups and 12-player groups for trials.
• When slotted, adds 40 health recovery for each player in group, including companions.
o 40 solo / 80 solo with companion
o 160 dungeon (4 players)
o 480 trial (12 players)
• Ability (cost 240) casting: knockdowns and snares are half as effective for all players in group for 24 seconds (no stacking); also resets all potion timers; this effect can occur once per group every 24 seconds. Grants minor heroism for 12 seconds.
o Morph 1 (offensive): Penetration is increased 300 for each player in group for 24 seconds; these cannot stack**

**the idea of "these cannot stack" is to get players to coordinate their use of the ULT, rather haphazardly firing off.

Quest to introduce solo-player dungeons and changes to Bolgrul’s daily:
Immediately upon finishing “One of the Undaunted” quest, Bolgrul will appear in the tavern, introduce himself, and send the Vestige on a quest into a dungeon; specifically one of the “starter dungeons” (Spindleclutch I, Fungal Grotto I, or Banished Cells I) other than the one just entered for the “One of the Undaunted” questline. Bolgrul will have some device he barely knows how to use and muses that it will send you to Oblivion or one of the two moons or the middle of an ocean, but will actually activates a portal directly to the solo-player dungeon.
Upon completing the dungeon, the player will return to Bolgrul at the Undaunted pavilion to receive their reward. Thereafter, Bolgrul will allow the player the option to enter a delve or a single-player dungeon.
Rewards for solo-player dungeons:
• Each boss has a 5% chance to drop an antiquities lead (Advanced) for a cosmetic armor set motif (chest, arms, legs, belt, feet)
• Final boss has a 5% chance to drop an antiquities lead (Advanced) for a cosmetic armor set motif (weapon)
• Upon quest turn-in, in addition to the other rewards Bolgrul typically doles out, 2.5% chance for antiquities lead (Advanced) for head or shoulders motif
• 1 % chance, any boss or at quest turn-in, for antiquities lead for non-combat pet (5 leads total) – a player could receive this lead and the head/shoulders lead at the same time. Only one lead may be obtained per account per day, including:
• 1% chance ,any boss or at at quest turn-in for antiquities lead to (not bound) recipe for AOE taunt potion.

Quest to introduce no-CP dungeons and new NPC:
Upon reaching CP 160+ the Vestige will receive an invitation in the mail to meet somebody in a tavern somewhere in the player’s Alliance zones. The Vestige travels to the tavern, and meets a shirtless Nord man who offers to buy a round of mead. Accept the drink and sit; don’t accept the drink and sit; refuse and don’t start the quest at this time. Upon accepting, the player will sit and hear the Nord offer a new challenge for a group of players: to fight in a dungeon without all that fancy “champion” nonsense, promising better rewards etc. upon completion, when turned in back at the Undaunted Enclave.
The player will then receive that day’s daily no-CP dungeon quest, and can gather a group or use dungeon finder for pick-up group (PUG). Once the dungeon has been cleared, the quest can be turned in back at the Enclave, and the new NPC will issue daily quests at that location thereafter.
Rewards for no-CP dungeons:
• One Undaunted key
• Armor set drops (not cosmetic)
o Each boss has a 5% chance to drop an antiquities lead (Master) for a weight-specific armor piece motif (light jerkin, light robe, medium chest, heavy chest are all different leads for example).
o Final boss has a 5% chance to drop an antiquities lead (Master) for a specific jewelry piece (left ring, right ring, necklace) or weapon (bow, ice staff, flame staff, lightning staff, restoration staff) or weight-specific shield (light, medium, or heavy)
o Upon Quest turn-in, 2.5% chance for head or shoulders piece (again specific to armor weight)
o Also upon quest turn-in, 10% chance for Antiquities lead (Master) for one of the following (15 pieces each except house); a player could receive this lead and the head/shoulders lead at the same time. Once / account / day
 non-combat assistant (armory)
 non-combat assistant (deconstruction)
 non-combat assistant (banker)
 non-combat assistant (merchant)
 non-combat pet (inventory 5 spots, same as in store)
 2-player mount
 house (30 pieces) – if you have a zone with an Undaunted Enclave away from a city, the house could be located near to it allowing easy access.

I would recommend for the sake of player sanity, changing the lead possibilities occasionally. So for a time (about 1 year), it’s “banker assistant or 2-player mount” only, and the next year it’s “decon assistant or inventory pet only” or just “house only”. 10% chance for a lead x 30 leads for all = about a year for each rotation assuming daily play. Having all these at one time would be frustrating; a "no end in sight" scenario of working on 4 years' worth of leads at once. It would also limit devs' ability to add/remove items as the years progress.

Some of these may need to be pieces of a voucher that is usable in the store, so the player can choose which banker, merchant, or inventory pet they wish to acquire, or if more armory or decon assistants, or 2-player mounts, are added to allow the player that choice also.
