PLEASE don't nerf all sorcerers because of some builds!

I use stat-based sets in the game (I know, archaic and underpowered) so I'm not among those who used certain procs which became a problem when combined with sorc skills. I honestly feel like I'm being punished with the Crystal Weapon nerf for someone else's decisions. I wear Titanborn and Wretch Vitality. It's bad enough that light and heavy attack damage is decreasing but with crystal weapon being nerfed, I am seriously concerned about my ability to do damage. I've attached below random footage of me playing in battle grounds to show how I play. You can see that I'm not the strongest player on the field. Now imagine how much worse I'll be with these nerfs.

It's time for an update. I have to say that this character feels absolutely HORRIBLE now. I don't know if it's the light attack nerfs or if it's Mara's Balm but I used to be able to chunk people with Curse + Crystal Weapon. Now, I'm barely seeing health bars move. I'm really sad because i loved this character. I have probably one (maybe 2) kills in about six BG matches with this character SINCE I STARTED COUNTING the number of matches. Below is just game play of my most recent match with no commentary. I didn't pick any clip in particular, just my most recent match.

Hey you're an Xbox right? I ran a dungeon with you a week or two ago. I remember because I've always thought your name was cool. I was fake tanking but with a taunt. I remember thinking I better do a good job or I won't be able to talk crap in those topics anymore.

Unfortunately I gotta kinda disagree with your plight here. The stat based shield sorc has been dead for a while now, not because of any specific nerfs but just kinda because the game went a different direction. And now yes its gotten even worse and sorcs are widely acknowledged as struggling in PvP.

It sucks and I hope they get buffed. But savage werewolf wasn't the only reason why crystal weapon was over performing. And honestly, don't you have another toon you could play for a while? The PvP echelon gets mixed up constantly... It just kinds is what it is. Sometimes a class you really like falls out of favor and that sucks, but don't you think it keeps things interesting in the long run?

Bowsorc was overperforming on pure stats too @StarOfElyon. If you used Kinras instead of Savage Werewolf your damage output wouldn’t be too different than Savage Werewolf. Crystal Weapon had ridiculous damage, it was about 35% of your damage compares to the 20% now on bowsorc. So the nerf was justified.

It might have been slightly overnerfed, in my opinion stamsorc could use a slight increase in damage again, specificly on Bound Armaments. The main problem is that you play a melee stamsorc which just isn’t the current design of stamsorc which is build around kiting so obviously you will get different results.

I have other classes, I just don't have other sorcs. I'm still playing it now trying out different sets. Still sticking with stat based sets though.
