Werewolf build with malacath and max penetration is worth it for pve?

I want to test my werewolf sorcerer with another build.
In this moment i have medusa + leviathan + 15800 of pen + shapeshifter's chain.
I think in another build with Stuhn's Favor + New moon acolyte + malacath's band.
I will have around 19k of pen + a lot of weapon damage + malacath.
what do you think?
