The community as a whole is giving you a lot of feedback and food for thought regarding the changes in the next combat update.

We are dedicated to the game and even to writing opinions on the forums and becoming informed. Many other solutions have been proposed by the community to achieve what you want to achieve with the update.

@ZOS_Gilliam @ZOS_GinaBruno Please don't ignore all this feedback and consider not pushing through the light attack/heavy attack changes (I'm not calling it weaving changes because that's not what this changes are).

    - If you want to make casuals happy, Instead maybe do changes to the insta kill mechanics and team wipes to make them more player friendly, that's the actual problem.
Most players don't even feel excited with the new dungeons because they know they can't even pub them. Especially close range players (stamina, those are the most affected by insta kills).

    - Please don't do the light attack changes.
It's insanely hard to even get on a trial for most people ( leaders wont let you join if you don't do 100k, and even than you need achievements ), having to join several guilds, waiting weeks maybe months for the trial we want to do, and than we fail the trial 20 times and have to wait more weeks.
This how the end game works for several players and hurting their dps won't help them at all.
Most players struggle to even reach 100k+, and this changes will just kill their dps by a huge ammount.
And their enjoyment in the game.

    - The players from what i see are happy with the game, and shouldn't be punished because the ~ 5% of "pro" players do vet content with no difficulty.
What this light attack changes are doing is hurting the game for the majority of the player base, and possibly making them stop playing.

    - It took me months to reach 100k, and than you nerfed cp and harpooners and i can't even do 100k anymore.

    - The dot changes are amazing because they let players relax a bit, but the lower dmg will surely affect pvp a bit increasing the number of burst damage builds.

It's not even on PTS yet

Doesn't need to be for people to know it will hurt their dps.
And from what i see usually when updates hit pts there's barely/rarely any changes to them. So players at least are trying to be vocal before that.

This ignoring how much damage werewolf is about to lose.

I'm just fine with the changes, personally. It is not the end of the world, though some would have you believe it is the worst possible thing ever. If you are on the bleeding edge and do 120k dps now, if you are hit with 15% lower DPS after this change, what can you not do with 102k dps?

If you are not high end, and are running at like 40k dps, you are going to have a lot lower change, so if you are reduced by 6%, is 2300dps going to make that much of a difference?

    Deep breaths, people... deep breaths.
