Does it actually do anything? You'd think over time maybe it might add up but I haven't seen it affect anything. My daily writs don't seem affected, sales to vendors don't seem affected, and any gold I find on mobs or in chests is usually under 100g.
Does it even affect a gold amount under 100g? It either has to round up to the nearest gold which means Imperials always find 1 more gold in loot and chests, or it's a wasted racial.
What exactly does it do? It might be affecting quests as my quest completions on my Imperial (who is my main and my only quester) give odd gold amounts. But I don't know.

✭✭✭✭✭Yeah, you can see it if you do your writs on a non-Imperial and then switch and do them on an Imperial.
Same thing with chests, it's a couple extra gold from each chest you open.
It's not incredibly meaningful, but none of those +1% racial passives are. It's also something you don't really see below level cap. It's still there, but in most cases, you're not getting enough gold for it to trigger, until after you're getting over 100g at a time.2 -

✭✭So it does increase writ rewards and what you find in gold chest? I don't do writs on my other characters. Can't be bothered to get all the skill points I need for all my characters to be crafters too.
I get 670 gold per writ, and yes I just googled it and the normal reward is 664 gold. So it actually rounds down not up lol. An extra 6.64 gold becomes 6 not 7.
That also means it doesn't affect anything under 100g.0 -
