Can you make the AI in TOT not spam Sorcerer Patron

Trying to get better at the card game with AI but its very annoying that no matter what they will spam Sorcerer Ogrnum.
Won't even let it favor me ever. I get that some players might do this but not all the time. It's hard to learn how to win with the card deck if the AI won't let the patron favor you and if you leave it alone they will win in a couple of rounds because they will always spend gold on the patron.

I find that this is the easiest and least stressful way to practice strategies against a Ogrnum spammer. After all, if all they do is spam and put little thought into it you will probably get to where you can win 2/3 of the games you play against someone like that. Also, you will get to where you win about 90% or more of the NPC matches.

The AI is horrible when it comes to patrons in general. They typically don't even try to stop you from winning via patrons unless their script randomly told them to use a patron that turn. The fact that they go all in on the Orgnum patron (even if it will lead to them losing) is also facepalmingly funny.
I think the AI goes something like this
If they have a coin in their played pile - Use treasury above all other actions... unless there is an Armory, then take that, duh. I don't care if my opponent has 3 patrons flipped toward them. I NEED TREASURY.
Do they have 9 coin or more and there is no Armory to take? - Flip dat CROW!
There's a contract card in the tavern and they can afford it? - Take that NOW! Grab that Tithe and... do nothing with it. AI LOVE CONTRACT CARDS!!!

Irony is usually the AI is perfect to practice against and you are pretty right about it but its annoying to learn with Orgnum. Even if I pay coin at the start they will make it back to neutral until couple of rounds which they will start spamming it.0 -

the only time ive ever seen them use crow is when they are losing and trying to close the power gap but they use it very poorly
very rarely have i seen them use the pelin patron
other patrons like psijic, reach, and rahjin i have never seen an NPC use ever yetplays PC/NA

They rarely use patrons unless Hlaalu if they stop doing Writ patron. Once they do Sorcerer Patron....they do not stop.0 -

✭✭✭The Orgnum deck has a card that allows 2 patron uses for that turn and also you have the tithe card that allows that too.
Use treasury for writ of coin early turns and build up a collection of cards that stay in your deck. If either of the above cards show up you need to amass 8 or 9 gold during your turn.
Flip the Orgnum Patron back to neutral(3 gold) purchase tithe(3 gold) or the Orgnum card(2 gold) then flip the Patron to favour you(3 gold).
Ofc you are now locked into flipping the patron every turn because npc will flip it back to neutral EVERY turn!!
Other way is to flip before the npc does, if you've managed to get some nice cards very quickly that works well too!When people say to me........

✭✭✭✭✭Sorcerer King Patron and St Pelin’s The Armory and Rally are pretty much the worst things about ToT. Really hoping these change.
And yes even the NPC spams the Patron because they understand that’s the only way to win too lol
