Can't purchase Dawn-Prism.

As the title says... Despite having more than enough AP and it showing as Green next to the Dawn-Prism.
No matter what I do, the purchase will not activate. Nothing happens.
This happens from Battlegrounds Merchants and War Researchers.

Bloody frustrating.

Just wondering: Are you by chance using any 'game mods' or 'add-ons' ? And if so, which ones? And if not, have you already tried shutting down the game & launcher completely and relogging/re-trying to purchase again?

    Well...
    Dawn-Prism is 90k AP
But if you have exactly 90k AP on your character, you won't be able to purchase it. I drew another 10k AP and hey presto. I could buy it leaving me with exactly 10k AP on my character...

    Bravo... Slow clap

Apologies. Your response appeared after I posted mine.
On Xbox so have no mods.
Seems as though you can't have the exact amount of AP on your person to buy it.
    You have to have more....
    Unlike purchasing with gold.
Who knows why this would be but as my above response says. Drew out more and was able to purchase it.

    Stay strong

Cool and no worries, glad it got resolved yep! /tip-hat

*Although now i'm actually wondering if maybe this is indeed a BUG after all, in that the game should allow players to "go broke" (zero AP's ) upon an exact purchase ... hmm .... or maybe , at the very least, @ZOS_ Devs could add an onscreen error-message saying "You must have at least +1 AP's to make that purchase" or whatever.

What frustrated me most was having to endure the current 'even more' excessively long load screens to figure it out. Stonefalls to Vivec for a Battlegrounds merchant to then have to enter Cyrodil to find a War Researcher.

All because I want to do a Master Writ for an event that rewards Master Writs.

Oh never mind the amount of times I've been booted to Xbox home. (Even more load screens)

So I'm more than a little frustrated.

I might even go so far as to say I'm a little bit pissed off.

Someone posted earlier complaining about 3 minute loads screens, I almost spat my coffee out and responded 'only 3 minutes???'

The door to my experience is open for trading places.

    Anyway, enough of this....
My 5 minute loading in might be coming to an end or I may have to Xbox home and attempt to get back into game from fresh.

Microsoft Xbox may regret this new problem reporting feature they offered and may get sick of the amount of errors I've been reporting daily.

Just reported an error 308 trying to log in
And reported an endless log in before that.

Since this report here. I've managed to be in game for about 10 minutes and have spent nearly 40 minutes trying to get into game including error reporting.

When your experience is this fraught with issues, little problems become huge problems because they add to the problems at large.

All of this because I was booted to home screen whilst trying to access a guild house so I could make the master writ the triune was for SMH.
40 minutes of trying to get back into game...

the game does allow you to drop to 0

the bug that they are mentioning is that the 10% discount from the event that is displayed on the vendor is not being applied for the "can you afford it" check

so 90k AP should be enough to buy one, but the "can you afford" check is still requiring you have 100k on you, even though the actual purchase still subtracts 90k
    plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

ahhh ok, makes sense then yep one of those pesky rare edge-case type bug situations that tends to only pop-up when LIVE server players stumble across it

Some thing is happening in the sewers with tel var. Trying to buy a Nunatak coffer at 18k. I have 18,125 on me and it will not let me purchase. Seems dumb to not be able to buy the item at the sale price when I have the proper amount on me. @ZOS_GinaBruno

Y'all best extend the sale prices on this stuff after the event because it's absolute NONSENSE that it's not working unless you have the full price amount on you. I swear to god with this game.....
