Open map in battlegrounds, unable to close

Hi,
I just had a bugged out map during battlegrounds. When the battleground invite popped up and I accepted, I had the map from a wayshrine open because I wanted to port to a different location. When I arrived in battleground I was unable to close the map. The default key M didn't work, when I hit ESC the map closed, but when I started moving, the map instantly came up again. I had to quit the battleground and requeue.
