Most Complicated Machine quest broken

As reported back in 2020 this quest was, and still is broken, new thread and report as requested. The body disappeared almost instantaneously leaving nothing to extract from.

I know about the workarounds, ty, but it's still an issue that needs to be addressed which is why I posted
