One Bar Stamblade 2H Build

Has anyone created a build using Oakensoul on a stamblade PVE 2h character?

I'm thinking:
- Oakensoul
- 1 piece slimecraw
- Tzogvin
- Can't think of another set - i'd say relequen, but I don't have it and would like an alternative

Skill wise I was thinking:
Stampede
Wrecking blow
Executioner or reverse slash (idk)
Relentless focus
Dark shade
Ulti - onslaught/incap

Thief mundus
Dark elf
64 stam/0 mag/0 health

Any suggestions?

Stampede, Path, Surprise Attack, Focus/Merciless Resolve, Flex Spot, Incap Strikes
Flex can be a lot: Shade, Executioner, Caltrops, Vigor

With the second set I would go conservative: Order's Wrath, Pillar of Nirn, etc.
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

You can go for Elite dragonguard if you are good at positioning
    I'm a single character man.
    Stamblade. Khajiit. Mostly pvp.
    And...that's it.

If you are running stampede, why wouldn't you go maelstrom 2h?

If you are running stampede, why wouldn't you go maelstrom 2h?

Because he would loose two setpiece bonuses, depending on what Weapon he has now.

And Stampede has a strong DoT, long duration and is a gapcloser at the same time. On a one bar build you kinda need those skills, that are stacked with multiple effects.

Yea i could do the maelstrom 2h and drop the slimecraw but i'd lose that 1 piece bonus from slimecraw and the 5 piece bonus from the other set (order's wrath/aegis caller/rele/pillar of nirn)

I went with Hexos Ward (two handed sword, ring, neck, waist). and Vicious Serpent.
This is a PVE build mind, so, not exactly for PVP.
Since it’s got oakensoul, I went X1 slimecraw for the crit boost.
Skills: impale, echoing vigor, Grim focus, wrecking blow, carve. Ulti- incapacitating strikes.

Depending on need, I use echoing vigor as a flex spot, and sometimes slot werewolf as ulti.

The other setup is replace Hexos ward with Plaguebreak for exploding trash mobs.

I know I gave Vigor as a flex option before, but Swallow Soul works wonders as well. You do not even give up damage casting it. And it costs Magicka. Although it doesn't heal per second for as much as Vigor does.
It is a nice option. You get good passives, too.

I am currently using 5 pc Medusa, 5 pc Hexos ward, 1 pc slimecraw, and Oakensoul.

Skills: merciless resolve, surprise attack, carve, stampede, twisting path, incap strike.

I don't have a heal slotted on my bar, just the best dps skills I can think of. I use arrow proc, hexos shield, carve shield, and reaving blows CP for self sustain.

I haven't done a ton of playing since I got my oakensoul. But I was able to comfortably solo veteran spindle 1 and 2, which isn't a huge feat of strength but yeah I haven't done much yet. I did all the world bosses in wrothgar as well.

How would you say is your uptime of the Hexos Shield?
How high is the crit chance on your build?
Is reaving blows enough for healing on Boss fights?
And how is sustain? I am guessing it is easy peasy with Lava Soup, but can you run blue food?

This sounds like a solid Bruiser build, though.

Hexos shield has great uptime. It procs on cooldown for the most part as long as you're attacking. Sometimes multiple hard hitting enemies can eat through it quickly but so far it seems to hold up nicely.

My build has 73% crit chance.

So far I havent done any super challenging content, but yes reaving blows healing combined with carve shield and hexos shield is enough to heal through bosses including veteran spindle 2.

Sustain isn't even an issue. I never drop below 50% stamina even if i have to dodge roll mechanics frequently. Lava soup is enough by itself but I also play imperial which gives sustain.

My experience says, that if I want to make Hexos' Ward impactful, I have to use Flurry or Puncturing strikes. That is why I ask.
I have died too often to a Boss fight add wave, because the shield wouldn't pop.

However 73% crit chance (with minor Savagery, I suppose) is a bit more than most of my SOLO builds have. That might make the difference. It is definetly a good idea.

I play my same stamblade with dual wield and I still use surprise attack but I do wish I could use bloodthirst for the extra healing.. but surprise attack is just so good. But dual wield is nice because deadly cloak gives you defense as well as damage and you gain an extra flex slot on your bar for something like killers blade or mark for major breach. I just prefer the playstyle of two hand because of spammable shield on carve and having a gap closer.
