Bombblade question

So I've been trying to put my nightblade to use for something other then speed farming and landed on a bomblade. Most of the build are the same with different morphs/set for range/melee bombing. My question for ranged is why don't I see skills like Razor Caltrops or Tangling Webs to proc Dark Convergence? I would think these would be pretty good.
