Tales of Tribute tavern cards really random?

I have to say I have a real strong impression that the cards that drop into the tavern are not entirely random. It happens far too often that several cards of the same color drop consecutively, and quite often even the identical card. I guess this is made to allow both players to catch both cards.

I think however the game could gain if we had a real random drop-to-tavern.

An interesting hypothesis. Probably worth doing some testing on that if you get the chance. Get some solid data. I have also had a sneaky suspicion that the NPC opponents go first a majority of time and it's not actually split 50/50 though I have yet to sit down and get a large enough sample size of data to know for sure.

I passed the "play 30 dailies" achievement quite a few days ago(Npc dailies).

So far I think the npc may start first slightly over 50% of the time but it's pretty close in my experience.

As for the Tavern cards being random I personally think they are and very random too!! I haven't seen multiples of the same card that often, except for when the npc has been removing everything of any use and leaving the ones even they don't want! 🤣

I have however played many games when the cards from one of the 4 decks don't seem to appear at all BUT is that just me noticing because I'm after those cards??

Also we all know about the rng and "randomness" as seen in ESO! 🤣

I don't really understand the game at all. It needs a better tutorial. I'm just lost and clicking on whatever lol. won one. Lost one. totally clueless.
