Possible chapter on Atmora in ESO.

Hello community.

I propose Atmora as a possible future location, Tiber Septim, he was the last person to come from Atmora.

But in 2E 582 Atmora is inhabited by people, so a chapter about it would be possible.

Let's discuss.

Only after they've filled in all of Tamriel, thanks.

Tiber Septim actually coming from Atmora is debatable. This is likely a poetic description because he embodied what a true Nord should be and thus got the honorific "of Atmora" or "Atmoran". And don't forget, Alcair claims to be the birthplace of Talos too.
While I do like taking poetic descriptions literally for the purpose of making the world more interesting (like in the case of the Altmeri insect-wing-like architecture), Talos being the last known person to come from Atmora is a huge red flag to me as everything about his origin is surrounded with contradictions and unknowns.

The last Atmoran "invasion" was in 1E 68 when two ships laden with corpses arrived on Tamriel and the surviving people coming from Atmora were describing it like the land was dying and slowly being claimed by the cold. That was at the start of the first era, so many many years before ESO. If two ships coming from Atmora were a notable occurence then later ships would definitely have been big news as well. "Expeditions to Atmora in modern times describe a place of permanent winter, with little life and no sign of human habitation" - I take this to be the case for the middle of the second era as well. I am all for having an Atmoran themed chapter with an expedition there, but I would not like to see it be inhabited by people in ESO's time (other than a temporary camp made by other expeditions or something).

This is ZOS' stance on things too.

That being said, what I would like to see from an eventual Atmoran chapter is a cold weather mechanic and little to no combat. Just you versus the environment, mystery, puzzles, and monsters you can tell are out there but do not actually see for a long time until you eventually get a little bit of combat. I want that to be a deeply unsettling area that's "too quiet", with mysteries to uncover through visuals and text alone, maybe with one of your expedition buddies being there to bounce ideas off of each other. I'd also hope they could make it so that the hub city is not on Atmora but sort of the last island before the long trip to Atmora so that this deserted place isn't filled with players doing their shopping, crafting and other such mundane things.
Atmora should be explored, but at the end of the day I want to be left with more questions than I got answers from such an expedition.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

Oooooh! That sounds marvelous! I think that would be a very great deal of fun, and I wish I could give you a lot more than one awesome!
