Hey everyone, I recently put out my first video on Tales of Tribute and am excited to start putting out some more high rank content!

I think the psijic deck is pretty overrated, and has some really strong cards on the high end. Let me know what you guys think about my placements, and if theres any other content you would like to see me put out aside from tierlist videos.

Looking forward to any discussion about the cards :)

I don't enjoy watching videos that really don't need to be videos as a written guide would be more informative less showy, but just from the still image I can see I don't agree with the rankings.

I think one of the key questions for cards should be:
    1) Will I grab it regardless of my strategy
    2) Will it fuel my strategy
    3) Will taking it ruin my opponent

When you consider these points, I think the power level of some cards can be viewed in a different light.

    1) Scrying Globe - Should only be A
When you begin with 10 cards, you want to reduce the number of bad cards and increase the number of good. The globe is useful in that it helps you reach 7 coins through luck, but ultimately tossing 2 is not fantastic. Compared to other cost 2 cards, the tossing 2 becomes less powerful around the time you regret drawing this card over Sleight of Hand (Rahjin) or Luxury Exports (Hlaaru). Comboing off Loremaster cards isn't usually fantastic and so having low cost cards here will stunt your gameplay later. I appreciate the tossing is underrated, don't get me wrong, but the card itself won't help you out mid to late game as much as tossing 4 or reanimating (hunding putting back on top of deck) cards.

    2) Prophecy - Correct Tier. Prescience - Should be A
is perfectly tiered. It's a fantastic card that offers high coin for the cost AND offers tavern manipulation, which is instrumental in stopping the opponent. Prescience might cost 4 but consider what it does... it fuels purchasing with 2 coins AND lets you tavern manipulate in the same turn, meaning you can destroy 2 enemy cards AND still purchase 1 when for some reason you chuck 2 crow cards away and scratch turns up to taunt you.

    3) Dreaming Cave - Should be A
I absolutely love this card when I Crow it up or when I'm running Hlaaru sacrifice and I always WANT to take it... but I often don't take it over a lot of other choices because it's a support card that has the TERRIBLE drawback of Draw first THEN toss. Other way around and this card would be supreme, but I can't rate it over A with the ordering. And as for the combo... you dont often trigger it (again, because of the draw first then toss).

    4) Loremaster Apprentice and Relicmaster should both be A.
It seems weird that the 1 bonus coin isn't enough for a whole tier, but ultimately this is an agent that sits on the table and your opponent goes '3 power to kill it? pfft, it's not worth it'. But tossing 4 every single turn IS insane for many strategies (hlaaru loves it, crows love it, hundings loves it, eagle loves it, sorc king is too busy using sorc king patron power each turn and doesn't care because if you took time out to buy this card you've already lost lol) The 1 coin is really just gravy on the tossing 4 each turn unless your opponent is willing to waste 3 power to kill something that does nothing.

    5) Augur's Counsel - Should be C. Sage's Counsel - D.
It's a contract card, so you're throwing gold at a one-off deck manipulation. If you haven't got the combo it's D list while comboing with it drags it up to a C. Contract cards need to trigger combos or do something powerful up front. Bonfire is way better than this card and it's just a Red Eagle ragpicker...

The rest of the cards seem okay in terms of ranking, mostly because they don't really do much.

Good stuff! Yeah psijic can be good. But I still considering it a support deck. You're not gonna win any decks where their cards are the main hitters. I've always felt they're there to setup combos or counter things like bewilderment with deck manipulation.

What also sets dreaming cave a little over the top is that it isn't that hard to also start getting power from it. That incremental power gain can really add up some games. I agree with your C tier, but I also think that maybe those card have some untapped potential. In games without Red Eagle, the C tier could shine a little brighter as they become one of a few ways to get to power cards faster.

Psijic Order is great for countering that worthless card from the Rajhiin patron ability - just grab all the cards that let you move cards from your play deck to the cooldown pile. Actually won a game yesterday because of this.

Yeah they definitely are supportive cards, but they amplify the strength of your winconditions quite a bit!

For sure toss can be really impactful when you are guaranteeing your high power cards in the late game, I just prefer The dreaming cave or scrying globe over the C tier cards, but if toss is looking really good i'll still grab Psijics insight.

Yeah toss can really help with ensuring you get to play 5 cards every turn, despite having tons of bewilderments in your deck!
