Eldertide Theurges in Amenos Basin not respawning, is this new?

Been waiting at this WB for 25 minutes+, no respawn.

Started porting to other players, ended in three different instances of HI, not up in any of them and there were at least 10 people waiting on each, so is safe to say it hasn't been up for a while in either of them.

Is this a new thing? didn't have issues with this WB before today's patch, and I have killed them maybe 4-5 times already (prior to the patch).

Anyone else observing this behaviour?

I waited for almost an hour two days ago. Have decided not to accept that quest anymore. I have the WB achievement and no interest in sitting around for an hour, waiting for a WB that won't drop loot, because by the time you see them spawn, react and add your own dmg, they're dead.

This is *not* WoW! No need to introduce WoW-like mechanics (loooooong spawn timers...). It's one of the reasons why I don't play WoW anymore...

I guess I got really lucky and never encountered this before.

I guess I will just refuse the quest from now on until it gets fixed.

I got there and there were a bunch of people waiting. Some were waiting for around 1 hour for the boss to spawn.

I've been there 20 minutes.

This has been an issue since the initial release. It can takes upward of an hour to spawn in some instances, and in others it's the usual 5~10 minutes. Unsure what causes the seemingly variable respawn rate. Seems like a few bosses in this chapter have issues.

Respawn rates (Firepot Delve was fixed in 8.0.6, but not Eldertide Theurges), Eldertide Theurges doesn't always give kill credit for daily the quest, Mornard Falls quest not giving rapport to Isobel, Faun boss item pick-up objectives being bugged if you're in a group, etc.

I found that with Isobel too yesterday.

After giving up on this particular WB - at one point one has to cut one's losses and move on - a kind player shared 'A Special Reagent' with me and as you point out it didn't award with Isobel rapport upon handing it in.

Finally, after almost two hours of back-and-forth another kind player shared 'The Sable Knight' with me and I was able to get the daily 'fix' of rapport.

All in all a fairly frustrating time.

Fortunately I have an alt account that has a couple of characters that are 'in development' and not participating in daily activities; I shared 'The Sable Knight' and 'The Serpent Caller' with them which seem to both respawn 'normally' and award Isobel rapport so hoping that I will be able to complete one of them and the evening will score lower in the frustration scale.

It's been a thing since High Isle launched, so of course they haven't fixed it. Need to wait another 6-12 months.

Still bugged, not spawning after 30mins, and quest does not update even after completion.

Well, I've been standing here for over an hour, waiting for this world boss to spawn (Playstaion), and nothing. I've watched countless youtube videos, tiktoks, etc. I'm paying to play this game, not to wait in this game.
