High Isle Storyline, or any other actual storyline with costumes disguises involved.

Companions should also wear our costume if we have to wear a costume to disguise ourselves (Like in Blackheart Haven or on Bleakrock Isle). Immersion is very important to me and many other people.

Agreed, though I do not like wearing costumes at all. But that is due to me liking the outfits I gave my characters.

Another thing I'd like to point out to ZOS: The High Isle main questline, when it takes us to Amenos the first time, it has us wearing a disguise. The quest on the docks to Amenos which starts with the note "To Marcelle", taking us to Amenos for the first time, also asks us to wear a different disguise. As I picked up both quests at the same time when going to Amenos for the first time, I was wearing two disguises at once(prisoner and guard captain). Which caused me to order the guards around while looking like a prisoner. These quests could use some untangling. (Note: Both quests progressed as they should, it just looked weird.)

    I agree.

It's weird enough when you can apparently infiltrate a group that is specifically all one race just by putting the right clothes on - I think nord bandits would notice my argonian is not one of them even if she's in the uniform. But I realise there's no easy way around that, the alternative would be different versions of the quest for different races (which would be amazing but at least twice as much work) or always using some sort of magical disguise and it would be a bit of a stretch (and a bit boring) to always have someone available to cast an appropriate illusion on your character. I know that happens sometimes, but I like the variety of having different disguises in different quests.

But they could at least put companions in the same disguise so they're not looking obviously out of place when we're supposed to be infiltrating somewhere.

Not having weapons showing would be an even bigger fix. For me the whole thing where you are supposedly a prisoner and they've forgotten to take the enormous great big warhammer off your back is so jarring. I can accept it's not like Skyrim where they implemented quests involving putting all your gear somewhere to sneak in to places but they could at least make things like prisoner disguises hide weapns.

Yeah or the giant shield strapped to your back, mean it did look out of place wandering around with sword and shield

I agree! But it is also something you can easily fix yourself, by equipping your companion with an appropriate costume for the duration of the quest. I always do it as well, since atmosphere and immersion are important to me too.

Same for the weapons, I just unequip the shield or two handed weapon for the duration of the quest. My main character is a knight, so I always keep the 1h sword equipped, depending on the occasion. If the quest requires fighting before I get the chance to re-equip my weapons, I just fight without. After all, overland enemies are not very difficult. ;)

I love the flashbacks where you play a tough, noble, masculine character but it keeps my personality and Count Verandis has the Dutchess/Brassy assassin stance.
