Knockout fail

I suspect this is a bug, but not easily reproducible.

After drawing an Ambush card - which should guarantee knocking out up to two agents - I've had it do absolutely nothing! Ditto equivalent knockout cards.

I know to target any taunt agents first (it will silently fail otherwise), but still don't get the expected result.

Is there a counter-knockout card that I'm unaware of?

I had something similar with the card No Shira Poet where the play effect does nothing at all.
Because of this I tend not to select this card.

Same thing happens when playing Jarring lullaby, if your opponent has a taunt it will only let you knockout 1 agent instead of the intended 2 agents as stated on the card
