I'm still confused, so, if we already earned the cat and costume last week, to get the horse, do we have to watch 8 hours more or (4 + 6 + 8 hours) 18 hours more? I feel like it HAS to be the former, the latter sounds ridiculous

Yes. 8 hours more. I agree it is ridiculous.

Its Not 8 hours More. Read the Last Line.

    Its 8 hours TOTAL

4 for the cat, another 2 for the costume (= 6 total), and another 2 for the horse ( = 8 total hours.

what sux is if you did it each week, you already Have the Cat and the Costume, so its just an 8 hour grind to the horse

    :#

4 hours week 1 + 4 hours week 2 =8 total hours I already streamed. This means that I already have the rewards. So 8 additional hours to claim the last prize, even though I already have the cat and the costume. 8 hours more to get the horse. Total "view" time = 16 hours. 8 hours more than people who only tuned in this week and skipped the previous two.

"8 hours more" sums up pretty well, I think, the situation for those who tuned in all weeks.

But if you watched previous weeks you’ll have six crates total whereas if you only watch in the catchup stream you’ll have two. So the difference is like 10 crown gems.

Not defending it btw, I think it’s kind of ridiculous.

OK, but they advertised how this would work from day One

So we were all told in advance we could get all 3 (with only 2 crates) by waiting until the third week and only need to watch for 8 hours. If you don't care about the Mount, you just watch week one and week two. If you want the Mount, you wait and watch week 3.

    So, Why are you complaining?

Personally I think the issue I have with all of this is that I am earned two ghost cats (Can I gift one?) and I am earning a second duplicate costume.

Doesn’t that feel… off? Like its a mistake?

I mean when I was on my way into earning the costume the first time I did not have to go through the ghost cat earning phase again. (Shouldn’t I have three ghost cat pets by the time this is done?) But this phase is different then the first two. Why the change on the final step?

This just all feels like a mistake.

If you have an issue where it won't start the grim progress after the cat one,for the 8 hour week,do this:
    claim cat reward
    close twitch
    reopen twitch
    watch stream

It should now progress with the next reward.Seems it's a issue where you gotta claim one before the next starts. They should have mentioned it in both eso site and on twitch drops.

Yea, something seems shady about the way this played out.

Watch so many hours one week to earn cat.

Watch so many hours next week and earn costume.

Watch so many hours the final week to earn horse or watch a bunch of hours to earn all three. To me it read as if it gave people a chance to earn them all if they missed the prior weeks.

They left out the part telling us that if we earned the cat and costume already, that we'd have to re-earn them again to earn the horse, so the first couple weeks were wasted.

(not to mention the cat and costume were already items from old crownstore/crate stuff and many of us one or both of them already.)

Personally I feel genuinely mislead by zos on this one.

When I first read about the stream rewards and the three different periods, I noticed that the horse came last in the rewards listed for the third period, and I saw that the other two rewards that period were the cat and the outfit, both of which I already have. I also saw each period came with the standard Oroboros crates. And I saw for the first period the reward was the cat, and for the second period the reward was the costume. Nothing I read suggested to me that if I watched streams during the first two periods and got the rewards that I would get to skip right to the horse as a reward in the third period. Actually, my first thought when I read it was that they did the third period that way mainly for people who could not or did not want to watch streams during the first two periods could still get all the rewards.

Like I said, I already had the first two rewards, but I let those streams play anyway for the crates (notice I didn’t say I watched them!). Then, during the third period, I did the same thing and the only thing that surprised me was that I had to actually CLAIM the first reward to start getting progress toward the next one. I probably had to let the stream play an extra hour because of that. But I did know from what I had read that I would have to progress through the first two rewards before the progress would start toward the horse. I do think they should have put the horse FIRST in the third period instead of making it last, and they should have included the info that the first reward that period would need to be claimed before you could start progressing to the next.

Definitely one of the worst setups they’ve done thus far.

I feel shorted as I paid for the cat and costume previously with my hard earned gems...

Also this setup was stupid. And poorly explained.

Wasn't the costume from the Dragon Rise event and previously free?

I also didn't realize that you have to claim the cat, even again, before it starts on the Grim Harvester costume. So even if you have it on in the background, you have to make sure to Claim so it starts the next.
