Hello,
I personally find the idea of leveling up a character from the scratch, when you can use champion points on them, as something that contradicts with itself.
At the very least, as an option, players should have the choice of starting from the scratch, or continuing from where you've previously left off. Levels, skill lines, skyshards, lorebooks, etc. (for free.)
What do you all think, should we have an option about this?

All the pressure these days is on trivialising games, and trying to justify that by putting it forward purely as an option. Put simply, it's wrong and I don't agree with it.

That's an assumption, I leveled all 18 toons by playing the game by running quest, delves and dungeons. Daily random dungeons provided a good XP boost, completing main quest and main zone quest also giving good XP boost and using those XP boost scrolls. It just takes time.

It would obviously be monetized, and it would be whale bait since you would then need to buy skill lines and skyshards.wolfie1.0. wrote: »I would dislike this because it takes time to learn a class, Maybe if you already have that race/class combination to 50 it should... maybe be an option? But outside of that specific scenario people need to learn their classes and it'd make veteran dungeon matchmaking very bad in my opinion.
What do you learn from low levels with half empty bars of unmorphed skills? Some class defining skills are locked deep into skill trees.
If anything, after hitting level 50, players need to unlearn their terrible low level playstyle and start learning the real rotations when all skills are finally unlocked.
The CP for the whole account thing was done back in the days when the cash shop was much less aggressive. If it were being added now that extra armory slots are per character and you need a 6K crown assistant to do it out in the field, I think I know how it would be implemented.
"ZOS did something good before. I won't support the idea of ZOS doing something good again because they haven't done a good thing for the player base in a long time."
You're literally defending their monetization while being against it.
You do realize that ZOS would monetize this don't you? want proof? see the skyshard and skill line sections of the crown store for items that players wanted to have be "account wide"
