Add mounts to Armory slots?

I love the Armory system & the addition of the Mundus stones has been a great improvement but I would love it if in some future update they could add mounts to slots too.

It's too much of a hassle to me (have 13 char) to switch mounts when changing from my pve builds to my pvp build.

I have the Nebulous Star Born steed & some other flashy, colourful & noisy mounts but currently I'm using mostly monotone or darker coloured & quieter mounts because the Nebulous Star Born & others stand out & can attract too much unwanted attention in Cyro.

I would not love it because it's not necessary. Saving food buffs would be better, tbh, and more applicable.

A random mount option would be nice like a lot of MMOs have and perhaps outfits being saved per build but mounts is going a bit far.

If you are on PC, check out https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3219-ArmoryStyleManager.html
    Armory Style Manager

Your outfit is saved via the Armory system, why isn't your hat?
    • Armory Style Manager will seamlessly save and load equipped collectibles when you save and load your build via the Armory system.
    • Armory Style Manager will remember your equipped: Skin, Hat, Costume, Mount, Non- combat pet, Polymorph, Personality, Hair, Body/ Face markings, accessories, and Title.
    • The collectibles saved with each build are shown in the build UI.
    • Lock your builds so you do not accidentally overwrite them by pressing R at an inopportune time.

How would you save a food buff? It's temporary and requires a consumable. You can already save your quickslot items, and you can add your choice of food/drink buffs to the quickslots.

Costumes, adornments, body marking, mounts/pets. I’m not sure how feasible it is but to truly swap everything about your build would be amazing.

If one day our character’s class can be changed, then even that too.

Well, this is why I use AlphaStyle along with AlphaGear... so I can swap appearance, skills, armor, etc... and use Armory when I need to swap between actual builds; I have a STAMplar, MAGplar, Boss, and World Event/Dragon armory. But usually, I'm not swapping builds as much as swapping gear/skills... which AlphaGear does very well.

I thought everything on your character was saved? (pets, mounts, etc)
Also, how can you tell what armorer set is currently equipped?

I'd love to see mounts, skins, personalities all added to armory system.

It's really not that difficult to change collectibles. And whatever you mean by not using bright colored mounts in cyrodiil. I hate to break it to ya bit you can still see em all the same.

How hard is it to change mounts? Takes about 2 seconds.

Thanks for all the further replies & comments, the Armory Style Manager saves my selected mount per build, along with outfits, skins etc & also *role* which was another thing I wanted because I kept forgetting to switch between healer or dps when changing roles for dungeons & trials.

It makes things so much easier for me given I have 13 char who I have healer, dps, & pvp builds on that I switch between depending on what content I'm wanting to do with them.

Very happy that people who make addons saw the need for this & made it so that people who wanted such functionality could install it if they so wished.

*I also use the dressing room addon to switch between skills/set items so that I can do things like switch to a build with a resto staff & skills if I'm doing content with Bastian & want the extra healing.

When you get to many of them then you have to search for it

I’d rather the next (I hope) change to armory would be to save default group role. I have one Templar toon with DD and Healer builds. I frequently forget and queue to the wrong role.

I don’t know about this as I fail to see the importance of having specific mounts based on our builds.

Granted, I realize some may like such a feature. If I was the dev I’d realize I have limited resources so I need to determine what will bring the most benefit to the game. I’d suggest @oldbobdude idea would take priority since role is very much affected by the build where a mount does not.

No, I get it, there's something to it. Depending on my mood, I may ride a flashy mount (basically me saying "COME AT ME BRO"), but if I just want to chill I'll pull out my Sanguivorian Howler. A lot less engagement when I do that, often can just roll right past enemy players without drawing attention. I'd guess I get noticed less because 1. It's dark, 2. It's relatively quiet, and 3. The smoke breaks up my silhouette, so at night someone may not recognize me as rider-on-wolf shaped.
