Launcher will open but game will not launch from there?

So since yesterday (the first time I've ran the game in maybe a month ago) when I launch the game through steam the ESO launcher will run fine, it opens, news panels etc. display fine but when I hit "Play" it'll just turn grey and nothing further will happen and the game will never launch.

Things I've already tried:

- Adding all suggested entries to firewall exceptions.
- Running the repair option from the "game options" menu.
- Verifying game files in Steam.
- Running the eso64.exe directly (nothing will happen after doing that either though an ESO entry will appear in the task manager, this also happens after hitting play on the launcher).
- Restarting PC.
- Uninstalling and Re-installing.
- Uninstalling s well as deleting all ESO related folders in installation location as well as documents, restarting PC and then Re-installing.

None of that has worked. I'm at a loss now, I've never known a full Re-install to fail to fix a problem. Does anyone have any experience with this issue for have any other ideas I could try?

Thanks,

Being unable to launch after hitting the "Play" button in the launcher may be a permissions issue. Check your anti-virus settings and make sure the correct exceptions have been setup.

The application files that may require exceptions are:
    • Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
    • ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    • Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe

Some antivirus programs require entire folders to be selected instead of a single file. When this is the case, the file paths below are what you should use. If required by the anti-virus program, include all subfolders since every file is critical to run the game.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

Thanks, I have tried adding firewall exceptions to no avail. I have a support ticket in progress about the issue now as well!
