What is your go to Class when running Trials?

Just curious to hear what the community is playing with, not enough poll options to list each class as a mag or Stam, so in your comments, please list if your main is a Mag or Stam. When you are running trials, which class is your main go to and why.

I was maining a Mag Warden for over a year, just recently changed up to a Mag Templar just to mix it up, saw one of my guildies tearing it up with her Stamplar and thought I should change up to a Templar, currently having troubles with the build, partly because I'm not completely familiar with the skills and placement of those skills on my controller (I'm on console-PS5). Partly due to muscle memory and sometimes hitting the wrong keys (ha). I'm constantly adjusting the placement of skills and keys, its progress and things are improving. Currently the toon has Bahsei's Mania with Mothers Sorrow (weapons & jewelry), haven't found a good monster set yet and I don't have access to all the monster sets, so tonight I'm going to switch up from Nerien'eth to Ilambris and see how that plays out.

~ Cheers

always my argonian vampire stam sorc. he's the character i know the most and i've spent 90% of my time in this game as him. he's a little off-meta what with being an argonian and a vampire and all but i know his strengths and weaknesses in and out to the point that even if some of my other characters have the potential to be more min-maxy sweaty meta gods they just wouldn't compare to how well i play on my stam sorc.

Magblade main since swapped to mag in Elsweyr and luckily it's my preference still. Currently enjoying one of my least played ones - magplar, going through the old achieves with a new group, kind of refreshing experience after years being glued to almost one character exclusively.

    Magicka pet sorc.

It's the one I'm most skilled with. Pet sorc rotation is pretty easy and doesn't require a lot of effort, and that makes learning trials and dealing with mechanics easier.

I honestly can't choose. I heal on a warden, DPS'd on my magblade for years, but now main a magplar. If I were to do a vet trial I'd probably either heal or take my magblade as he's better geared.

I 80% heal on trials, and most often on Necro, but also use Warden, NB, Templar, and now working on a Sorc healer.

For rare times I DPS, Templar, Dragoknight stam and DK mag.
Glory to you and your Dunmer House!

For me it's nightblade, any role, since my main character is a nightblade who does mag, heal, and tank, and I play her the most. NB is generally flexible which helps for my answer but is not the reason.

    Templar
Voted templar because I main a healer. My warden healer is okay, but just not quite ready for endgame as I haven't piled on all of the sets I need to on him. Plus he's wearing Zaji's pirate costume which makes him look.....Fruity.

Dragonknight tank as my main. However, typically, I join with whatever is needed or wanted. I have tanks, healers, and DD roles in all classes. In the core groups I play with, I'm on DK tank keeping up Stagger and Brittle. In another group I fill for, I'm on necro tank. In some other groups, I play Warden or Templar healer depending on whether the other healer is there or not (usually playing a templar, in which case I go warden). On the damage front, I would typically go DK or necro with an option to run support sets if desired (Z'en, MK, EC, Alkosh, Master Architect in trash pulls) or simply full parse. I have a learning toward support sets as there are too many options to simply load out your support roles fully.

So the answer to the poll is really "All of the above." Whatever is desired for a specific raid.

I'm assuming that this if for damage dealers as tanks are almost always DKs or Wardens and healers are almost always Templars or Wardens. Magplar had been great putting out damage with these last updates. Nightblade would be my second. Both have excellent self-heals and executes

    Warden
When I really started getting into trials it was on my warden healer. Not sure why I went warden exactly, I didn't even know if it was a good class to heal on or not lol. When I started dpsing trials it was also on a warden... a brittleden at that. I just thought it was cool (pun not intended) and going from healer to support dps is less of a jump than healer to dps. I also just knew the class the best from my time as a warden healer. Made a stamblade but I keep going back to the brittleden because to be frank I am awful at being melee, dying all the time to who knows what. It's also fun blocking through things easily thanks to the ice staff passive :)

It depends on the trial, but if it's melee friendly (and the group stam optimized) then my favourite is my stamNB character, it's the one I'm most comfortable with, and do the best dps on. If I have to bring magicka, then it's my magNB. For aoe fights they are not the best dmg, but tbh I'm not up to date with other specs; I used to play (and liked) stamnecro as well (though blastbones and siphon were always an issue) and also magsorc, but I'm out of touch with their rotations nowadays, plus ever since pet sorc became meta I stopped bringing my sorc to trials because I don't like that playstyle. If I had the time and inclination to get good at a new rotation, I also like stamwarden a lot. For solo trials I'm also decent with stamsorc and stamplar, but don't really play them in group trials, plus stamplar (even if good with sustain and heals) doesn't have a very exciting rotation. The specs I dps the least with are magDK, magnecro and magwarden--I've done solo stuff with them, like arena trifectas and so on, but I never use them for group trials because I have the least experience with them.

Stamblade is my main, I’m trying to do all the trials on normal to get the achievement without pugs, it’s good enough for me.

Taking a long time, though. Most groups won’t let you use stam build in trials anymore.

It depends on what role I'm going as.

If I go as a tank then I hop on my main character who is a DK. If I go as DD/DPS I go on a Nightblade.
I'm not certain which class is "the best" as DD, but Nightblade seems to be very popular!

Whatever my raid lead wants me to use. I main a healer and have all classes fully ready for vet trials. When I DD it's with DK, necro or Templar (all magicka) depending on class required for better optimization.
