Legion's Arrival, an upgrade of Reinforcements, sees the overall same value - you still get 2 gold and 3 power on a full combo, while the cost of the card remains 3. To add insult to injury, the 2 power you get from 2-card combo has been moved into 3-card combo, meaning that you need to get 2 more Pelin cards out in order to get the same value you were getting from a basic counterpart of Legion's Arrival. Since it is not a clue-based upgrade, you cannot even avoid getting it, being forced to use a weaker version of Reinforcements after some ToT rank.

I sincerely hope it was a hilarious oversight and nothing worse.

Not a clue-based upgrade? How does one get it then, because that's the only one i'm missing.

It's not a clue-based, nor is it the patron power achievement reward, so it must be a rank-up reward.

Definitely not a rank up reward, unless it's bugged. Only achievements I have missing for ToT are the one that requires this upgrade, and therefore the one that requires this achievement, and the daily quest achievements. Still don't have this upgrade.

Have no clue then. I'm somewhat certain I've seen a card getting upgraded with each rank-up (which would make sense as a time to reward you with an upgrade), so I just assumed that would be the case.

If it were bugged, it would be a fairly hilarious conclusion to this so-called "upgrade".

I suppose it's just a bug, 'combo 3' should have been 'combo 2' on the upgrade card.

Not only is it a rank-up reward, it's the missing one which can't be obtained in-game.

Because there are eight cards which are rank-up rewards, but only SEVEN rank-ups, from 1 to 8 since there is no level 0 to rank up to 1 with. You only gain upgrades at levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Was thinking the same thing the other day - seems like they forgot that you only rank up seven times and one card ends up getting cut.

Almost as hilarious as expert - and only expert - AI creating an Ansei "Mainland Inquiries" card for both players. Almost...
