I play a lot of Necro, and most people don't realize that blastbones, arcanist/archer, and the healing from ghost do not contribute to scoreboard numbers. This might not seem like a huge deal, but I get messages frequently from confused players wondering how I have some of the lowest damage on the scoreboard with the highest number of kills.

To put it into perspective, on a blastbones centric build (take a new Oakensoul setup for example), most of your damage will be coming from blastbones. Combat metrics will frequently show well over 500k-1mil damage from blastbones alone. None of this shows up on the scoreboard. People have accused me of hacking time and time again wondering how they're seeing multiple 15k blastbones on their death recap while I'm sitting at a meager 50k scoreboard damage.

On the flip side, intensive mender heals for a lot. Again, in sweaty matches I'll frequently see intensive mender healing for around 500k healing. This, once again, doesn't show up on the scoreboard, meaning enemy players have no idea how much I'm helping keep my team alive.

This isn't me wanting to "show off" my true damage and healing numbers, I just want to point out how confusing this can be for the majority of players in battlegrounds that don't know about this peculiarity.

Is this a necromancer only issue?

On my sorc I often heal my teammates with my twilight matriarch and it counts towards healing score. (I have no other sources of group healing)

Sort of. The damage from sorc pets won't be counted, but the heal from twilight matriarch counts as a player skill (since you actually have to cast the ability to use the heal), whereas the game sources the healing from ghost as a pet.

im guessing it works like this for any pets (warden bear, and temp summons like maw of the infernal/morkuldin/shadowrend)

necromancer pets have a lot of problems since many of them wont trigger procs either, even though something like blastbones is a key part of their rotation

Correct. In fact, none of the necro pets can proc sets, which is frustrating since blastbones acts more or less the same as something like shalks and arcanist/mender act more or less like flames of oblivion and cauterize.
