Ideas to spice up ESO

I am very tired of the yearly formula.

A new story that will be cut short so they can sell us the Q4 DLC, less side quests than a base game zone, and dolmens 4.0.

High Isle is pretty but it is just more of the same.

Can the creative department please go out on a limb? A procedurally generated dungeon perhaps? Siege battles? Literally anything that isn't 6 delves and 2 public dungeons?

Played the card game for about 90 minutes today but I don't see it having lasting appeal for me. The games take way too long in my opinion. I appreciate them doing something radical, but as a headliner for the expansion I think it falls flat. I am glad it is in the game and all, but it doesn't feel like playing ESO. A procedurally generated dungeon would be ESO with some serious replay value. Or maybe a "survive as many waves of enemies as you can" with your group event. They get progressively harder and there is a scoreboard of the best runs. Something where we can play our characters in a new and exciting way.

A new weapon skill line would give me more lasting joy than ToT. Or throw us a bone with a new BG map? Still waiting on those mini-pvp events that we were promised in January...

I remember how low energy the High Isle reveal stream was. Now that i'm playing through it I am feeling pretty low energy too.

Would really love to hear some more out of the box ideas that break the mold and monotony.

I think it might be interesting to re-use some of the assets from Cyrodiil to produce sieges you could queue for and fight against AI at specific times of day.

Personally? I'm good with it the way it is. I actually don't play a game to have to think - I play a game for relaxation and fun in a world I love. So I'm good with what we get. Though I'm simply not interested in the card game thing at all.

    ESO is fine

I passed the card game by...it was a good idea poorly implemented and the money used to create it should have went somewhere else in development..like giving us better AI or a deeper more meaningful story....

    As for the other stuff....respectfully

if I want a procedure Dungeon I'll play Diablo, if I want a throw away skill line I'll play WoW. ESO is like a Friday Night D&D campaign or Skyrim with friends that is all the vast majority of us wanted it to be.

Ideas to spice up your ESO life?
    • Try role play
    • Invite a friend to join you
    • Have ESO in a new location - outdoors, or while on holiday.
    • Join a group and visit a local dungeon.
    • If you have kids, enjoying ESO while they are around can be difficult. Have them stay over at their grandparents house one night and spend that alone time focusing on your ESO life.
