Add-On Settings

Kr4ftw3rkub17_ESO
Currently it states that the "Add-On Settings Are Currently Unavailable". Is this due to the updated content? I had enjoyed using an addon called Votans Minimap. However, after the update, it's disappeared and even after uninstalling and reinstalling the addon, it still doesn't show. I've tried installing Fyrakin's Minimap also but to no avail. I've tried key binding that allows for the show/hide feature of the minimap but that doesn't work either. Wondering if the unavailability of the "Add-On Settings" is a temporary setback and will be addressed or if anyone else has experienced this same problem and found a settings change that fixes it. Thnx

I'm able to use Votan's minimap addon in update 34. Note: I'm also using the addon "Harven's AS to LAM Adapter", which fixes the (minor) problem of Votan's (and possibly other) addons having their settings under an "Add-Ons" menu instead of "Addons". I don't know if this is related to your problem, just thought it worth mentioning.

Thnx vsrs_au but I found the problem. In a nutshell, I didn't have enough drive space for the Ascending Tide download so I had deleted all ESO files on my 'C' drive and did a fresh install onto an external 1TB drive. What I didn't know was, afterwards, while I was enjoying the Ascending Tide content my comp had generated another ESO folder in the document section of my 'C' drive.

And here is where I think the problem was - I have Minion set to navigate to the ESO folder on my 1TB external drive for any addon updates. Now, don't ask me why, but when I downloaded High Isle, the update went straight to the ESO document folder in my 'C' drive instead of the ESO folder on my 1TB external.

So I just copied all the addons and pasted them into the empty ESO Addon folder in the document section of my 'C' drive and *voila*… everything is as it should be.

The funny thing is... before I did the copy/paste - every other addon I have was still working except VotansMiniMap. Go figure.

Anyways, thnx for the sharing and offering help. Cheers.

I believe there's another thread somewhere, where someone shows how to get ESO to use a different path for its live/AddOns directory, so you could move them to your external disk if you wanted to.
