I don’t mean right now— I know y’all are busy and this just came out, but it’d be awesome to have a mobile app with this card game. Maybe food for thought, for the future?
I'd happily pay a small one-time fee to get entry, but it could also be free if you own a game account already. A standalone app connected to the main game would push player numbers for main game players after all.

That's not lucrative enough to be something that i think they'd ever do. Because of how the game works, they can't monetise it to the point where it's worthwhile because locking cards or decks behind a paywall doesn't work with how it's set up in-game. If you had to shill out 10 bucks to play orgnum that would cause uproar from eso players and it'd be shunned. At this point in time i just don't see it working very well from a business perspective.
Too bad ToT was the selling point of the expansion, making having it be a mobile game not likely for at least a year when the minor hype it's gotten has died down into nothing. I'd like to do my ToT dailies from my couch and then log in later to receive rewards, but it's not likely.
I think linking matchmaking in eso might be complicated. I’d be happy with playing the game period. If you could link it to your ESO account and it could send you in-game rewards, that would be extra cookies. But I’d be happy with just playing it.
I'd enjoy an app version, even if it didn't link to the game. The randomness of the draws keeps me absorbed. Playing against the npcs is like Solitaire and the pvp is also interesting even though I still get thrashed by unranked casuals at this stage. Being able to play the game when I have time to spare, instead of just when I am at home on the PC, would improve my skill by leaps and bounds. Barring a mobile game becoming available, is there a physical board and decks available for purchase?
Its got to be linked to your eso account. I probably wouldn't play it otherwise. One problem I have with tot is that if I am actually home and playing eso I don't want to take time away from pve/pvp to play a card game. If I could earn rewards/ranks for my eso account while away from home I would be playing tot constantly.
I wrote a poem that I titled, "The ganker's delight."
As you lay upon the ground, cry not little pawn.
The pain will pass as quickly as my blade did take you,
but my delight will last and you will respawn.
My heart simply cannot contain my joy, when I ply my trade.
The fault lies with you, your skill was lacking.
Now your salt is mine forever, can't you hear the laughing?
Once you were so proud and now you are reduced to this.
A miserable, loud deuced fool.
With every tear you drip, with every excuse you let slip.
All of your insecurities and worries bring a smile to my lip.
From your despair I have ripped endless glories,
but our affair is over now. Be afraid for I will return for more.
I have received many titles, to my allies I am The sniper Emperor and Grand champion hero of the Pact. However these titles mean little to me, it is the ones given to me by my victims that I prefer. To them I am "Xv1er", "trash", "no balls", "zerger", "noob", "cringe", "no skill", "camper", "100% new", "the reason this game is dying", "pathetic", "a sack of piece of [snip]", "mediocre", "absolute inbred", "beyond a virgin", "ganky dork", "fat smelly 40yr old virgin", "little girl", "daddy", "exploiting loser", and every [snipped] word known to man.
I too would be game for an app. If it can be linked to our ESO accounts for any rewards we get so much the better. I'd even settle for a basic link that only grants you access to the decks you've collected within ESO.
As for matchmaking, I don't really care if you play against people playing ESO or just with app users. I imagine that from a developer's PoV, it would be much easier to only allow app users to compete within the app, but I could live with either.
But as said above, monetizing just the app would be a tad difficult. Although it would make a nice incentive for people to purchase ESO+ if it was added, I don't know if that would be enough motivation for ZoS to make it.
And if monetization really is an issue: If it at least linked the decks we can use with those we have collected in ESO, I'd happily buy the app. I'd pay more if the rewards are retrievable in ESO.
Let me play matches against console and maybe even just app users with my behind placed on the toilet or when I'm in the bus to work (or in a boring online meeting at work ).
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
I would buy the app and pay a monthly fee to play. I really like playing, but it cuts into my limited playing PS4 time. If I could take it with me on my ipad or phone I totally would. I would even kickstart it if that was a thing.
