PETRIFIED OAK LOOP LEAD - 1M BOUNTY (on PC EU)

Golden Clover Guild is offering a bounty to the first person on PC EU with details on the drop location on how and where to obtain the lead for the Petrified Oak Loop !
The bounty for this will be set to 1 million gold for any player on the European Server and paid when the info for the lead has been confirmed by the OP @marius_buys

There is also a 1M bounty offered on PC NA by someone. It's a great idea so I decided to post a bounty for PC EU.Contact me if you want to up the bounty or just add your bounty by posting it here on this thread.

Gotcha well looks like we have a situation ... I checked everywhere online and nothing but clue to trees .. world bosses and location of High isle somewhere...

The only lead im missing my bet is a drop from a dungeon end boss. Most mythics have that

I'm on console, so can't hunt yet. From the name I think maybe lurchers - they have a loop of wood around their glowing ember thing. Either the lurcher world boss in Glenumbra or maybe some of the lurchers in dungeons like the one in Arx.

Just a question. Did you got Stormhaven lead from Crab boss or other WB in that zone ?

The last time no one could find an item that was supposed to be in the game and posted a million gold reward for anyone who proved they actually found one, the devs found out it was accidentally left off the loot tables. When this was figured out, there was a hotpatch to the game, and someone claimed the reward in a few hours.

Is the clue in the Title I wonder?

The lead for Frigid Sapphire drops from the Frost Atro World Boss in The Rift, so, the Petrified Oak just might drop from something similar, I am thinking along the lines of the Azureblight Cancroid for example - OK so maybe technically from the final boss in Lair of Maarselok.

i am not sure what lead he got for which mythic. just he was hype about it. on the thread if trees and souls, tree boss in vateshrans has a soul that goes between all three, but not sure they would go outside the chapter and base game for a lead for those without the vateshran hollows dlc

I wonder if it is some sort of drop in Bangkorai. Maybe from Spriggans. The leads drop in Glenumbra, Stormhaven, Malabal Tor, and High Isle. All locations that have major ports. Bangkorai is forested and has a port. And spriggans seem like a proper mob to drop wood related leads.

Buddy of mine and ~15 people have been farming Woodblight and no one has gotten the lead so this one looks unlikely.

Petrified wood is very old wood. There is an ancient lurcher in game.

Safeboxes before the update are usually cracked fairly often, take a bit to respawn.
If they stuck a lead drop in them, FML I'm not even going to bother right now, will be as bad as the RotPO band when that first came out, what a mess.
