Gamepad mode - emotes wheel gone

When playing in gamepad mode, you can assign emotes to a wheel that you can bring up using the right arrow on the directional pad (not sure what it's called). Since installing today's patch, it no longer works. Nothing happens when I press right.

I haven't tried re-assigning emotes to quickslots. The server was taken down before I could test that.

They upgraded the quickslot according to patch notes, I also play with a controller, but I haven't had a chance to see how it works now, I hope it's not borked for gamepad UI.

I just tested it a bit and it seems like a really good improvement. Hold the quickslot button and scroll between wheels using L1 and R1. The emote wheel is one of these nested wheels, and the old emote quickslot wheel does not activate from the old button.

I've logged off now, but I wonder if this means we can remap the old quickslot button to something else now?

Thanks for the info, sounds easy enough, will try it later.

With the recent changes to the quickslot wheel, you can only slot emotes from the full list of Emotes. If you hover over a collected emote you will then get the option to "Assign" and that will bring you directly to the full list of Emotes at which point the Emote wheel is present. See if this works once the server is back up, @AzuraFan.

@ZOS_GinaBruno All good. I didn't know about the new way of accessing the emotes quickslot wheel.

I really like the new setup. With four companions, assistants, potions, etc., the quickslot wheel was getting pretty crowded. The new wheels will be very handy.
