I was super excited when they released the first teaser trailer.

I was rather meh about the High Isle review.
I was unsure about the card game, and in some ways, still am, but considering that is the only thing I have tested on the PTS and have repeatedly gone back to test it, I think I enjoy it.
I love the rewards you get for playing a game of Tribute, and for those alone will likely play it regularly.
I love several of the new sets releasing
I love the music and look forward to purchasing the album when it releases.
I am looking forward to the new zone and the storyline and especially the new lore.
So I think that yes, I am looking forward to High Isle and am excited about it.

I have basically bought it for the card game and Ember - I haven't played it yet, just seen a few videos and after I begin to understand, how that game works, I think it could be both, interesting to play and be a real challenge in a competition. As far as Ember goes, one or the other character of mine might want her, others are attached to Mirri and won't leave her.

Ok I am interested in the political side of the story as well - it will be different than just chasing monsters hopefully. Not so sure that I will like sunflower fields - those could eventually hinder to find excavation sites, so yeah, not so fond of those.

My feelings are that recent expansions have become formulaic and stale. Kind of the opposite of what gets me excited.

I'm glad of the non-cataclysmic storyline, but I care not for the card game, and the two companions are just two more companions that need gear I don't want to carry and a minimal storyline.

Overland will be pretty but super easy, delves are same, public dungeons are same.

Dungeons are probably fun, but I have a backlog of dungeons to tackle so don't really care ATM.

So no, not excited, and will be waiting for a price drop by about 50% before considering the purchase.

    I wasn't initially.

I'm happy that this Chapter brings its important batch of feudal armor. A great variety that has been lacking in ESO so far.

I saw some lore and a statue that makes me want to know if the Chapter is pointing us to a certain destination next year.

A non-cataclysmic storyline plot is more than welcome. It will be very interesting.
I hope, however, that it will live up to the old Chapters. Since Greymoor, the quality has gone down (Blackwood was better though).

I'm always excited for new content and new lore, but I'm not as excited this round as I was for some others. Elsweyr, specifically, was my favorite with a new class, character slots, dragons, etc.

I'm looking forward to exploring the new location and questing, though I probably won't get to it for a while. I'm looking forward to the new companions. I'm curious about the card game and new antiquities. The quick slot adds will be nice.

Excited about new companions and the main quest-line.
I'm just a little worried that once I have the companions and have done that series of quests, that there won't be anything left to do in High Isle after that. It seems pretty content-light for a $50 expansion, in my opinion.
I saw it on the test server, though, and the entire place is lovely. I want a house there.

All I'm thinking of are the meta changes. The lands will be pretty, but meaningless for the endgame player. You want to keep playing - PvPing - you should probably keep abreast of the meta. That's how they get you. Haven't bought it yet.

I just hope they do the Breton lore justice. They seem to be disregarded as a whole due to their political divisions and mongrel heritage.

It looks confusing at first, but I guess it has quite a strategic element to it. ZOS made an introductory video about it lately, which is basically explaining the board and basic elements of it. I would suggest to watch this at least.

I am so ready for a break from the "the end of the ENTIRE DANG WORLD is upon us!!" vibe, and I am looking forward to replacing Bastian with new lovely ladies on multiple alts! I still have a few alts who will keep him based on their own personalities and my desire to have relative balance across all characters, but MY GOD does my own actual IRL personality find his to be exceptionally grating!!

....... also I'm not too worried about running out of new stuff to do too fast/light content, because that just means I can get back to endlessly decorating houses sooner. :p

Didn't buy it. First time I didn't automatically just order the new chapter. was very disappointed with both Greymoor and Blackwood, which in fact I haven't even done second quest in Blackwood. They don't offer things I would like as I hate companions and the card game which I tried on PTS was incomprehensible.

Will just play normally. As I remember I couldn't even do anything in either of the last two chapters on opening week as it was crowded.

I wasn't going to buy it until later but my friends all did so I did too so I could play with them. But I'm not looking forward to it at all, mostly because of no male companions and the card game. I hope they don't hide furnishings behind this card game or I'll really be upset.

I preordered it the first day it was available ... while I was technically still making up my mind about what I thought about the game. I've been playing Elder Scrolls games for 20 years now (15 of those almost exclusively playing nothing but Elder Scrolls games). I seriously doubt I will actually be disappointed now.

Yes, and mostly to the companions! I did pre-order as soon as I could.

This week I took the time to prepare myself for High Isle. Did hundreds of surveys, so now I have atleast 30k of each equipment craftmaterial. Should last me for the month, hopefully. I finished maxing all the crafting skilllines on my 16th character, so I can play High Isle with my 17th. And I finished the prologue quest, which I almost forgot about.

PS: I don't really look forward to unlocking two companions on 18 characters. This will probably take me two full days, like it did with the previous expansion. ZOS should make finding the companions easier, by allowing direct porting to them.
PPS: I do not look forward to having to make room in my house for the new sets.

I'm not unsure, but it was the only 'in between' option so that's what I picked.

I'm excited for the new map and storyline, especially since it's somewhere we've never been in a TES game before, but I'm indifferent towards all the other features. I think the card game could be interested, but if they were selling it seperately I wouldn't pay much for it. Betweeen that and the fact that I don't want any of the pre-order items I don't think it's worth £33 for me so I'm going to wait for a sale before buying it.

I am looking forward to it. I did test different setups on PTS for my main and thus now know which sets to go after in the new update. I also tested the card game and found out I quite like it.

I have planned on doing a quest a day in the new zone. While questing, I will explore the map and clear out the points of interests there. This way the story content will last a long while for me there.

In addition to the exploration, I will unlock the card game and the companions fairly quickly. I'll play the card game every now and then, but will not focus on it solely at the beginning.

I have also signed up for several runs of the new trial. I find it exciting and am looking forwards to it. And by the sounds of it, the trial will last a long time.

I'll also try to fit some lead hunting to my gaming schedules. There are some mythics I want to get my hands onto, and other antiquities I haven't yet looked up.

These activities will keep me busy for a while, which is why I'm eagerly waiting for the update to launch. These last weeks have been a bit dry on the content side, and if it were not the Project Vitality in ESO-u, I would not have had a lot of things to. Luckily now there's going to be plenty of things to do, to farm, to explore and to experience.

    Super excited.

Any new ESO content, I'm ready to devour it.

Tales of Tribute looks pretty fun and like a great time waster for chill days in the guildhall.

The companions are both interesting, though I wish we had another male option, I'm already certain I'm gonna use Isobel quite a bit.

And the story seems pretty interesting. I've tried not to spoil it at all for myself but the little bits I have picked up seem like it'll be a pretty good time.

I am super excited, and haven't been this excited for any MMO expansion since forever.

Bretons have been my favourite race since the first TES games, because they always gave me a King Arthur legends (which is one of my favourite things) vibe with the knights + forest stuff combo. In one of the High Island interviews one of the writers mentioned that was also one of their inspirations, which is great imo. And now I get to see 2022 fidelity Breton stuff and those mysterious druids that have been alluded to ever since Daggerfall or so. It's basically the perfect expansion for me! :)
