XBOX is BROKEN for some players and hasn't been fixed! This is a general discussion about the issue and not a personal bug report or support post. Mods please do not move.

This is just the front page. Many of these are closed, when the issue is still happening. I can go back and find 20+ more threads on the same issue. It goes back to December 2021, and possibly earlier.
PLEASE can we have some acknowledgment from the devs on this issue?!

The issue (hanging load screens, never getting to character select) is the same. But all of these players posting for help are not playing in the cloud.

Support gives canned answers, blames the ISP and then tells you to redownload. Which works the first time!! But then it doesn't. But sometimes you can log in, after restarting the game 10 times. I'm able to freeze the game 100% of the time by trying to log in, letting the atempt time out, and relogging. There is zero acknowledgement that there may be a systemic issue that has nothing to do with what players can control. There are some indications from reports it is account related, as in some above posts logging into a family members account on the same machine had no issues.

Guildies & friends have stopped trying to log in. They might come back for the new chapter, if this could be fixed before this, maybe they will stay. It's a damn shame long time players are leaving not due to unpopular changes or rebalancing (they'd be here through thick & thin) but because they just can't log in reliably.

No, I don't have a support ticket number. This isn't about my specific issues, this is about a significant problem being ignored. Plus, all support has done is tell you to do ineffective things, and eventually to redownload. This has played out numerous times within my Guilds and in the forums.

Please, I am literally begging for someone to take a deeper look at this issue. @ZOS_Bill @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno

PS & PC players, I know you aren't having these problems, but I also know ZOS tends to be avoidant until they can't be. So please show your support of your fellow Tamriel citizens by viewing this thread!

    I haven't had this issue on PS5, but it does suck that it's happening to anyone. Hopefully Zos will address it soon.

    I know numerous people on xbox who have had just about every issue described here.
    Tickets have been submitted, issues have persisted.
    Some guild members have started logging in less and less due to these problems.
    Because why play a broken game that doesn't put resources into the fundamentals?

    I sincerely hope your post can draw some serious attention to these matters.

    Yes! This is the case for myself & many guldies. They've given up. Support is an unsatisfactory experience coupled with being UNABLE to log in at all makes players leave. Guild rosters have never looked emptier.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_Bill please see that this is much more extensive problem than the support solutions given, and that players are leaving the game due to being ignored. There has been zero acknowledgement of this issue on either ZOS or Microsoft's account.

    On a related note-
    Does anyone have an idea of who to contact at Microsoft to report a game produced by a subsidiary doesn't work on their systems but does work on rival platforms?
