Console players, it's time for one button ultimate trigger.

It might just be lag but I get so darn tired of having to press two buttons (L1 and R1 on PS4) to fire off my ultimate and half the time there is a delay or does not fire off at all in PVP. Why is it not an option already to just map that to one button?

Ok. What Button? We have a Finite number of Buttons. Which will you remap it to?

Edit: this is not saying I'm against it whatsoever. There's just not a lot of Button Real estate on a Controller

I'd use L1 and L2 and map that combo to a skill that is just one my bars for the passives and is not used and map the ultimate to the button that one was on.

How about the right d pad button, do we really need to waste a button on cycling through the active quests? Don’t even remember the last time I used that button, easy answer

As I read the server hardware refresh improved cyro performance I picked the game up recently for pc. Funnily I switched quickly to my DS4 (with the official Button attachment) and it's great as you can fully map it

I play with controller on PC and I wish for this kind of. Bcus if I don't time the double button push right (also with synergies) then i accidently cast other skills or my ulti doesn't go off and I hate that

On PC I have it bound to HOLD Directional key Down on PS4 controller, it's the most out of the way button and the default controls for it is zooming the camera which I can do with the mouse wheel. Hold not Press because there are times when the game doesn't register when talking to NPCs or crafting station then I push down as the next reflex... and go into Werewolf.

Aside from the 4 Trigger buttons Directional Keys, Letter Keys, and Joystick keys can have two functions with Press or Hold Down so that's 20 different functions right there. I use L1 as Sprint but also my modifier key which can be combined with Directional Keys and Letter keys so that gives me an extra 8 modifier functions on top of regular Press and Hold. That's at least 28 different keybinds in total.

Yes please.

Holding down on the Triangle button (PS) or Y button (Xbox) would be all that is needed.

You might think about investing in an aftermarket controller with programmable buttons on the back you can activate with your middle finger. It takes some getting used to the placement and at first I'd hit them by accident sometimes but after awhile it's not a problem and you'd be able to map the combo onto one button.

Well that wouldn't make sense to me...
If its in the base game and work with a controller, why woulnt they put it on console?

It was in the official news article, another player made a post and tagged, last I seen nobody bothered to respond...PC only it looks.
