Hey everyone!

Hope everyone's well. I was once around ESO alot - running with Guilds and killin' and strategizing...

How's PvP? Has it been fixed? Are there still tons of crashes and 47910d
(can we come back and siege or is DC still working as intended (enforcing low pop)).

Is ESO worth playing? Hardcore PvP'er asking

It's better, but there are still lots of issues. Disconnecting is actually worse now days. But generally, overall, Cyro is playing better than before the server reworking.

The big problem now is the pop caps are so low that a tiny bit of cross faction cooperation rigs the camp outcomes.

We MUST get the pop caps back up to at least 125/faction in cyro to restore some faction balance and fun to the zone.

    Interesting. (thank you)

Pop caps rising would be an indication they've finally got a handle on Cyro performance...unless I log and see the deer are back. ;)

Nice to hear you guys have had some lag-free time. :p

PC NA got a hardware update. Lag was nearly non existant for the first days, but old problems slowly make it through again. When hammer shows up, faction stack happens and people crash on mass. Outside of the performance issues, the current meta can be absolutely unfun, unrewarding and frustrating if you are looking for good fights. You got speedbuff stacking tower humpers running back and forth, up and down, rinse repeat, doing this for literal hours, and treehuggers at every corner doing the same everywhere possible. Then you also have ridiculously overtuned unkillable bombsquads at every keep fight (even groups use LoS at fullspeed nowadays + the usual op healstacking). Poplock feels more like 50 or 60 players per faction. Could be slighty more but 3 bars can really feel empty without fights happening anywhere. Also whoever got more bombers, movement speed and heal wins. This usually happens in a double teaming effort as well. Which happens every day. 3 faction war is no more.

Wait and see how it goes once High Isle drops publicly. Then we'll have a much better idea of how much things have changed.

Everyone should have some bonus's with speed. That's just a no brainer. The biggest problem, there are too many ways to counter or completely ignore snaring and roots. They need to remove immovable pots, make snow treaders just reduce snaring (but limit sprint speed) and cut shuffle time in half. They also need give rewards to guilds (guild ap and guild leaderboard through said ap through holding a keep and kills by people in tabbards, etc). They need to make guild ap able to improve keeps, like adding guards to poor oils over doors, a keep captain (maybe even customizable) and other options for guilds. Make stacking give less ap (every 10 extra players at a keep reduces keep ap by higher stacked faction by +25%). Need to spread the fights and promote skilled gameplay. They are not doing this. They are rewarding stacking at keeps (easy 6k) and making guilds difficult to maintain. Earlier in the game, more than half the people were in guilds and the fights were mostly spread. The hammer needs to be given to second or third place and once dead, gone. No flipping it. Also, the low pop bonus needs to scale per bar to promote playing in off times. Groups of more than 6, need ap reduced by 5% per person over (up to 30%).

If CC immunities would be adjusted as well as debuffs (which are just as useless most of the time), CC tanks and debuff tanks could make a return too. But as it is now, the PvP of this game feels like the stepchild of sonic the hedgehog and bomberman.
