"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I don't think they actually said what order the remaining megaservers would be done. People have been assuming PC EU is next, which is reasonable given that they appear to be doing them in order of how old they are, but I don't think ZOS has said.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

Console players are getting a lot of hate all the time. People are always trying to tell us how consoles are responsible for all the bugs and problems this game has. They make posts about why old consoles should not be supported anymore... And now you are saying we should stop crying for always being last in line when it comes to updates and upgrades? We are not worthy of new servers, because we do not bring enough money?
They could have upgraded their hardware years ago. They need to add a lot more hardware to handle primetime, when most people want to play. They should employ a bigger team and invest more money in THIS game. Pay their employees better! Fix bugs and keep the game alive. And no, they should not upgrade anything first, they should do it at the same time, with an extra team working on consoles. And do more testing on PTS before making changes! They have enough money, we all know it. But whoever decides where the money goes, does not care about the players, employees or the game. We can feel it every day. So instead of fighting each other with snarky comments, and playing white knight for one of the biggest companies in the world, maybe we should keep reminding them "we paid for a service, and it does not work as promised, do something about it now!".1 -

Because it's a fact. Zenimax themselves have said that consoles are the reason ESO is underwhelming, as in that they can't do the things they really want to do because of the old console limitations. You can easily see it in how barren DLC Zones are compared to base game zones. Blackwood was the pinnacle with almost no trees and no enemies in a majority of its fields. Only the area around Leyawiin was lively, because that's what people see first.
This is just how Stadia has severely halted PC updates at the time. Zenimax always wants all platforms to have the same experience, so I wish they would announce the abandonment of Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 at least.Edited by Dracane on May 22, 2022 3:04AMAuri-El is my lord,

Frankly, it is not the case. The hardware problems are persistent for years and the game runs on 25 years old engine. Just my bit of salt.

Hmm. You know what I think ? I think this game is a little bit like a Boeing, they introduced 737 and it was pretty amazing airplane - 55 years ago.
Then they stopped investing in it and the last attempt was put oversized engines on it and sell it as a modern aircraft.
The long term lack of investments in ESO is embarrassing and for PC/EU platform it is even more embarrassing then for the rest.
Game engine rework and HW upgrade should be done 3 times already
