Hello, my name is FBS.

I would like to write about 3 features that i like from other games. I think it could be good to see them in ESO as well.

The first feature is the "send backup" function from Division 2, that allows players to find others who are willing to help.

The second feature is the "instant/intrepid adventures" from Rift that allows players to instantly group up and do pve contents and activities.

The third feature is the PvEvP "Gambit Mode" from Destiny 2.

Thank you all for reading my post.

I also would love to see some things from other games here in ESO but
the only thing I would love to see is the combat options from Lost Ark like in the screenshot below.
This makes combat in groups so much better, only displaying your own skill effects so you can actually see what the boss is doing. And a simple option "Display pets from other players", which would include combat pets and the other useless pets

    Central trade system for console

A battle pass or a PvP version of eso plus

    1. It would be nice if ESO copied every game in history and removed LA weaving/AC, put LA on GCD
    2. Lost Ark has some cool PVP options, like battle royale where 5+ people fight each other, also 2 teams of 3, and solo 1 on1. 3 arena modes that would be cool addition to PVP, I personally wouldn't use them cuz I don't like duel stuff but would like to see this option for other PVPer who don't like current state of BGs
    3. Also from Lost Ark, they have grouping functions where you create a lobby and say 'looking for X to do this Y' (example of X is item level 1000 only)(example of Y fight against this guardian or in this dungeon) So basically they have the normal queue but ALSO have the lobby system which would be nice addition for ESO

There is a way to enable affect timers which will show all the status affects on targets and yourself with a count down. It is in the settings menu somewhere.

The ability to turn non-comabt pets off would be nice as they can be sort of spammy sometimes. I turn mine off when I am not idle/in RP.

I would like to see a Hand-to-hand weapon skill line and turtles for pets and mounts.

No no, thats not what I mean. I mean the visual skill effects itself (like wall of elements, orbs, storm atro, weapon/armor procs etc), not the status effects or icons. Like all the shiny/glowing skill effects/ground aoe and all that stuff. Like with that option turned on I would only be able to see my skill casts, all other group members would basically just swing their weapons but not show any skill effects.

Send Backup - activity finder for dungeons or battlegrounds, it could be better, but it's close. I agree that a feature like the one in fallout 76 to create public groups would be interesting.

Intrepid adventures sounds like the first one, so see my first response.

PvEvP already exists, it's called imperial city, although people keep denying that IC is also PvE oriented, and that PvE'ers want it to be purely PvE, but it's there, it exists, and it's not so good.

And this!! I've seen players asking for this a lot, as a tank it's so hard to see what the boss is up to, even when highlighted, because of all the particle effects from DoT's and HoT's, not to mention when the stupid Daedroth (from maw of the infernal monster set) or the frozen colossus (from necro ult) get in my view the moment the boss is charging a heavy I was supposed to be blocking.

Combat pets can harm you , so should be shown.

I see no value for non-combat pets. (I don't see as much value in costumes either, so that is probably related. I am fine having such things, but they don't appeal to me and hiding them in combat makes sense.)

I'd love to see a couple dedicated grinding areas where monsters constantly respawn on a very fast timer in a fairly small area. Getting up in CP is difficult without grinding after all.

It's a weird comparison, but if anyone's played Maplestory in recent times, you'd know what I mean by grinding maps; areas where the spawn rate of monsters is high so you can grind non-stop for EXP. Maybe make these areas unlockable through CP like a specific CP milestone where they become unlocked for the use of CP grinding. There's one area in the game that's kinda like that already: you know how at the end of Volenfell there's a moment where skeletons constantly spawn and attack you in a small area? For a minute early in the game's life, those skeletons actually gave you EXP when you killed them. It's how I got a toon to Vet 14 when vet 14 was the highest level, before it got patched out.

Something like that. I'd love a number of endless grinding areas in-game like that. I know there are places that kinda already work, namely the zombies in the Alik'r desert, Blackrose Prison, the old-school one that's also in the Alik'r against ghosts at Hunding's, Skywatch... But those don't really scratch the itch of an endless grind area, since you have to go around gather and whatnot. That's fine. the game is fine as is. But I think it could be fun.

Game should never have launched without a way to turn off effects and others pets and mounts etc.

Fairly certain the effects are wrapped up in code that they cannot change or they certainly would have by now as it would fix lag etc for many people (and help those with light sensitivity issues in dark places when faced with a group full of templars!)

Then again, the light sensitive have been ignored for years since they continuously add new and obnoxious white flashes ---
sure i'm not the only one who instinctively closes their eyes when scrying to avoid that pointless flash? Don't get me started on full screaming white screen during quests...

Slider to lessen self effects would also be welcome: stam sorc in a trial using hurricane forget being able to see your char at all, lol. Maybe that's just me though.

I wish I could play in vet TRIALs to get perfect stuff with only my 35k damage, as that's the best of 200 ping players can have (almost 1700cp)
Because in any other game after almost 2 years you are high top end player, but sadly not in ESO

After playing Elden Ring and completing everything the game had to offer (and I mean everything) I would really like ESO to have a reward system. You complete content, you get something nice (no random chance about it, it's yours for putting in the work) and all the rewards dont have to be locked behind Veteran Hard Mode Trial content either.

I know the crown store has taken the majority of cosmetic items that could be earnt in game away from us but I fell in love with the way Elden Ring rewarded the player with really cool items and feel ESO needs this badly. The little rewards you can earn in game are very underwhelming (I cant believe its still a very small rng chance to drop a furniture plan from Murkmire, content that is years old) but even things like the named weapon sets were nice to collect (ie Lord Warden's Shield, The Grievious Ward that talks to you!!) but even those novelty things dont exist in the game anymore.

ESO needs more heart put back in.

Just in case if you don't know: there is the option in the settings to turn off other players effects.
This option doesn't turn everything off though. It does turn off the Wall of Elements and Warden's shalks, for example, but you still see many other skills.

One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

Sick&tired of being kicked off from your house when you complete a dungeon? ComingBackHome addon is what you need!

Yeah oddly enough, whilst playing Skyrim (2nd time round) on xbox today and I remember how much I enjoyed the buying and selling system. Each merchant had a limited amount of gold and different prices making trading quite fun.

I know Skyrim is single player so a system like that on an MMO would be resource heavy but would be cool.

Also quite liked the map, in Skyrim - the ESO map is a let down imo compared to the rest of the game graphics. The limited zoom and overlapping icons make it a bit less enjoyable.

My 3rd thing is the swimming underwater, which I thought was cool (ha ha no pun intended).
