Obviously this is hugely subjective and based on personal opinion more than anything else.

Titanic Cleave for sure. Free damage even as a full tank just by the mere number of enemies, easily the best weapon set in the whole game to me.

My answer is really dated, but its the last weapon I really grinded for in there. Was pretty nice in PVP at one point, but it mostly collects dust these days.

ive always had severe difficulty getting the 1h/shield to drop, before curation it was the only thing i was missing because it refused to drop for me

realistically i think a majority of the weapons from DSA are pretty desired, a lot of the other "arena" weapons only have like 1-2 that you really want and the rest are just really not great

My favorite weapon set in the game. Allows you to do MASSIVE damage to groups of enemies while never allowing your HP bar to drop. (if you use the brawler morph)

Seriously it's crazy how much of a god this weapon makes you. Pretty much all my stam DDs use this weapon while tanking random normals.

I use the restro and the 2h regularly, currently seeking the sword and board. Since I could only vote for one though I voted for the sword and board because out of those three, I hear the most about it. A 2pc selfish set that can be 1-barred saves room for 2 buff sets + a monster set and/or mythic rather than having 1 buff set, 1 selfish set + monster/mythic.

I like the ice destro staff for minor brittle, the flame destro staff is pretty good for ranged dps, too.

Next patch if you get a stamsorc and want a mindless super ranged dps build:

Crystal weapon/ flame reach/ crystal weapon/ bound armaments / repeat

Do that with the twilight and scamp passively slapping stuff around and it’s instant mega dps

    Runner up for me:
Titanic cleave is pretty awesome for AOE, if you go with charged trait and slot the Carve morph, you can put minor mangle on a lot of targets at once, assuming all those things are clustered nicely. But that’s why I don’t have it at the top since huge groups are rarely tightly clustered around the radius of the swing

I've used the bow and dw the most followed by the resto staff. I wanted the cleave for ages and finally have it but I really don't have a build for it.

I'm not sure about the current meta, but I sought the 2h as it gives a nice boost to brawler/carve damage, and I've also used the daggers and bow a lot throughout different updates. I think the resto and the 1h/s are also still useful, and the destro was (is?) good for pvp.

The top three answers are definitely correct. I think my personal is sword and shield, but the most sought after is tied between 2h and resto due to the use cases for them in pvp and pve.

But there will never be anything as fun as a beekeeper/alessian and master sword and shield build.

    Good *lord* the survivability.

Good thing about vDSA is that all of the weapons from this arena has their niche, be it for pvp or pve. I would only mark (great) axes and lightning staff as meh and mostly useless. Other than that what weapon is desired and it depends on people you run with who wants what unlike vBRP where anything other than daggers is barely requested.

Either Bow or Dual Wield. Usually the most common weapons used in PvP when it comes to Dragonstar weapons. Bow is becoming mega popular thanks to Bow Sorc and Bow Blade.

The bow I know people use although I haven't myself.
The resto is very commonly used for vss hm tomb healing.
I have a hard time finding much use for the destro. The dot isn't large and gets reset every time you cast...which isn't a good mix for an aoe direct damage skill used as a trash pack spammable.

You should dust that off because it's still extremely powerful for PvP, especially on Ice Staff backbar.

if your dealing with weak trash, it is better to just spam the skill, but against a boss, it is not good to spam, and i still see decent dot ticks from it

on my mag dk for a boss fight i dont spam it, but use it as part of the rotation for extra dot, if say in a trial it makes it easy to apply the dot to the entire trash pack of mobs, or extra dot on the boss

also used it to some decent effect with the ranged impulse in pvp

They all have their place, but at least for me Titanic Cleave. I used to really love the Puncturing Remedy set, but I get so much more use out of the Vateshran 1-h/shield set that I almost never use PR anymore. This is for tanking dungeons. I haven't got to the point where I tank trials, so can't compare.
